It's the toxic beauty standards of South Korea. Somi also drastically lost a lot of weight and many people think she is having an eating disorder but she insists on to continue her diet and says she is happy with herself. Im happy that she is happy but these beauty standards are having a really negative effect on Kpop idols especially females.
she says herself she loves eating and doesnt diet that much. she says her weight is maintained because she is very active, does intermittent fasting and pilates. shes not dieting, i wish people would stop assuming thin people cant be thin unless they diet :/

She doesn’t starve and her diet was fine in the past few years, she eats her favorite and healthy foods, and burns calories with exercise and practice. Sure, she may have toned eating her favorite foods down this year, but it isn’t too noticeable and when looking at other pictures this year, she looks fine. She may look like that because of the lighting, because there are some instances where you can see her ribs in some fancams, but she is doing okay now and she posted on Bubble about her status, and she says she’s doing okay now, so don’t worry :)

Y que esperas que se haga en caso de que tuviese un transtorno? Que la empresa la obligue a comer? En caso de pasar un problema así lo único que podría hacer la agencia es ponerla en hiato y rehabilitación y tendrían que hacerlo sin comunicar nada a los fans o prensa para no perjudicar su salud mental pero si hacen eso incluso menos fans estarán felices, es como si creyeran que los transtornos se resuelven metiendo mas comida y ya lo cual es muy alejado de la verdsd

Espero que esto no pase a mayores, sabemos que muchas veces son obligadas por su misma empresa a tener ese nivel de delgadez. Espero que la empresa sea más consciente de la salud de todas, no solamente de Yuna. Esa obsesión que tiene Corea por querer que los idols sean delgados, puede llevar a muchos idols a padecer algún trastorno alimenticio.

oigan esto no es genética, Yuna ha sido delgada pero ahora está en los huesos entiendan que no hay que normalizar esto, así digan que es "hate" no lo es, aprendan a diferenciar cuando es hate diciéndole palabras ofensivas pero lo que estamos haciendo es preocupándonos por su salud que no está bien que por dietas extremas ya esté quedando en los huesos y lo mismo es con Wonyoung de IVE, uno dice algo sobre sus brazos que están extremadamente delgados y es preocupante por las dietas extremas y lo quieren normalizar, más adelante ellas tendrán problemas de salud graves :(

the light here and the heavy shadow makes her ribs look so prominent when if you look in another angle, the ribs are barely visible. yuna has said it herself that she is eating a lot. she balances her workout and food intake. please trust her guys, the other itzy members definitely will also protect their maknae.
La empresa debería pensar más en la salud de sus artistas que en su imagen o al menos equilibrar.
Estas pidiendo mucho, la empresa es la misma que obligó a Momo a bajar 7 kg en una semana, y ella solo comía un hielo por día, tenía miedo de morir cuando se iba a dormir. No me sorprende lo que esta pasando con Yuna.

She has the stringy thighs that you tend to get when you lose a lot of weight within a small amount of time, there's no muscle there at all. She has always been thin, but it was always consistent with no change. She's never dropped weight this suddenly before. Ryujin has dropped a lot of weight as well. It's not thinshaming it's concern
