4 years later, is the Sony 35mm F1.4 worth it?

I wanted to so I could save the money, but that’s a hefty lens!

Can anyone tell how it is compared it with 35 150 2-2.8 tamron , in terms of sharpness and image rendering ?

I don’t have hands on experience with the 35-150 yet.
I will say, from reviews I have seen, the 35mm Sony does look sharper.
But the 35-150 does look like a fantastic lens for all sorts of event photography.
