Love and enjoy your videos!!! You have such an upbeat attitude that goes with the Disney Spirit!!! I am so sorry that some CM’s don’t share that Happy Go Lucky attitude. To tell the truth I knew many that are such Bah Humbugs and won’t interact at all especially with pins, celebration buttons, oh and bubbles. One lady CM even had our lead take our bubble wands from the glow cart, because I annoyed her. Some people should not work in Happy Places!!! Pin trading especially trivia was always the highlight of my day!!! I especially enjoyed trivia with the wonderful Adult pin traders. Had some wonderful conversations with so many Magical Guests. Please keep your Awesome Attitude, and keep bringing us this Awesome content. BTW you always find the best scores!!!
Thank you so much!! That makes me feel great! Having the privilege to be inside Disneyland and World is a huge blessing. I love being inside the parks with my camera. It makes me happy and I try to show that to others! Thank you for being such a light during your time as a Cast Member! I'm sure the guests loved you! Thanks for watching!
Yea I woulda come back to that board when someone else was covering very strange response to give a guest at the park that is clearly trading sometimes cast memeber a have a power trip 😅
Some amazing cast layard finds! Wow! Super strange about the trivia! When we pin traded this summer with my niece, some of those questions were tough. I did have a trivia after guardians of the Galaxy. That was not tough question but he wasn't willing to trade for just any old pin and wanted to look at what pins I had. Understandable, but a little pushy when i did have good pins to trade. Yet another time, the cast member was excited and told me they were setting aside the pin I put on the board, They took it off that board for trivia in a drawer. But then in Disney world I watched a couple times where a cast member just pocketed a real nice one. My son thinking it was similar with trivia we had happen at land. Wanted to know what the trivia Was and was quickly told. Oh no, we don't do trivia here. 🤷 Only a few strange interactions amid some amazing wonderful ones so not complaining either. 🥰🏰💖
That stinks! We’ve run into a few who have asked to look at all our pins available to trade which I’m fine with! A couple other times they pulled the pin for themselves which I get to an extent as long as they’re trading a pin from their own collection and not just taking advantage of what’s provided by Disney. Most of the time they probably aren’t which stinks for guests trading. Most of the time Cast Members are great with pin trading which far outweighs the bad! Hope your all’s next trip is all positives!
Thats a strange experience with the trivia, I know for a fact they have easier questions just for the kids. Im glad the Pin Karma made it up and you got that D23 Mickey. Great video guys!
WOW you got so many good pins this day! I was wondering if you have any news on the house you were building? Also one more question, What’s your ranking for all 6 Disney parks World and land?
Dude that's a great question and one that I could answer 1 of 2 ways: Going off rides I like in general or how immersed I feel when I'm in the park. We'll go off the first option: 1. Hollywood Studios 2. Disneyland Park 3. Magic Kingdom 4. EPCOT 5. DCA 6. Animal Kingdom (Since I really only like Expedition Everest there lol)
Hollywood is for sure 1st for me! It wins in both Rides and immersion. Also pin trading is good. then I haven't been to CA so 2 is between Magic or Epcot so I'll have to go with Epcot because GOTGCR! I still love Magic because Space Mountain but Splash was so good and now its gone. I think Epcot will get even better once all the walls are gone to tho. Then Animal Kingdom is fun and pin trading there is great but I agree with you on lack of magic lol @@magicaladventuresyt
"to give the kids something to do" in disneyland LOL. Because kids obviously don't have enough to do in the happiest place on earth. I don't like it when they keep anything 'just for the kids', the whole point of disney is it's for everyone. Sounds more like a castmembers personal preference rather than a rule.
That is horrible!!! When I was a CM Trivia was the highlight of my day!!! I loved engaging with the adults, and sometimes they would give me awesome new questions to add to my list. I know that there isn’t a new rule neither.
I had a strange trivia thing happened to me and my brother. One time at night time, in the buzz light year Store I think, my brother was doing the trivia question. He got it right but the cast member refuse to trade the trivia pin with him because his pins weren’t up to value with the trivia pin. I tried to give one of my pin for my brother for him to trade of the trivia next but she said no again. She said it wasn’t up to value with the trivia pin. I think the rule is the cast member has to accept Disney pin for another Disney pin. We had authentic Disney pins. I am sorry about your experience in 11:59. I really like watching your videos. 👍👍👍👍👍
I'm sorry you all had to go through that! I've heard some make you trade a pin of equal value. It has happened to us a couple times actually but we came "prepared" which is something people don't think about having to do when casually trading in the parks. Thanks for watching!!
That's too bad about the weird trivia experience. I totally understand that something like that can really put a damper on a fun day. Thank goodness your positive attitude gave you good pin karma otherwise. At the end of your Disneyland videos I'd love to hear your comparisons on trading there versus Orlando. Seems like the cast lanyards are were the best pins are found and the pin boards are just all the same. I wish Disney would just throw out all the scrappers. I wonder how long some of them stay on those boards.
Definitely paid off in the end! We're going to make a video talking about trading in Disneyland vs Disney World soon! We've seen some of the same pins in the same spots on a board 4 days straight haha. It's the usual circular pins and those black and silver rectangular Hidden Mickey pins from 2008 😂
Bro those scores were insane! Definitely one of, if not THE best day of trading I’ve ever seen! I feel like everyone is bound to run into a weird CM interaction at some point. Disney is very lose on the pin trading rules so it honestly just depends on how the CM interprets pin trading. Wonder what’s gonna happen in next video🤔🤔
Right!? Yeah we've had our fair share with Cast Members but this situation stunk because we love how Disneyland has pin trading trivia. It's honestly our favorite part of trading😂
That was strange on the trivia in Tomorrowland. My daughter and I did a trivia question in Cars Land. The question was what is the name of the car that works for Dinoco in the first cars movie? We said The king, and she said no, he has a real name. Which he does but we did not know it. We said we didn't know but he goes by the king in the movie. She then got all rude and said you got it wrong go away. I thought that was very unDisney of her and her attitude to be so rude to guests trying to have some fun in the parks. SHe may of been having a bad day, but that does not justify the way she acted. Sad to think some cast members are rude and some keep the pins for themselves as well.
Sounds like a bad day indeed! Some Cast Members will give you another question if you’re stumped on the first try. Even if they don’t, telling you to go away isn’t a very nice send off! I’m sorry you had an experience like that!

Lagoon amusement park in Utah
Must have been the same cast member. She did trivia and when i walked up and grabbed all the pins and put them in her pockets and said no
That stinks! I’m sorry you had an experience like that! ☹️
