Dumplings! I've been making a lot of shrimp recently. Shrimp brussel sprouts tacos are really good, slice them up thin so they're shredded and you could quarter a few for some texture. I also made shrimp with diced mango, onion, and jalapeños. You can make it easier on yourself by using green onion it works just as well, it tastes like a mango salsa and I eat it on tostitos hint of lime chips. So so so bomb! Chicken cheesesteaks are really good too with pepper jack and onions and peppers.

Tee, my hubs and I went hiking yesterday. Since this was our first hike since last summer, and because I'm a bit cautious since I experience chronic pain, we decided to only just do the short hike (the red one) that was .07 miles; this way, I have a hike under my belt and get myself back in tune and I'm stretched out/prepped for the rest of our Sunday summer hikes. Somewhere along the way, I'm thinking: It seems like weve been walking way more than an almost-mile. Hubs says that's because we're walking slow .. but no, it def was more than a mile. Turns out that somewhere along the trail we missed the red sign .. and we passed the blue sign, as well (1.08 mi) .. and somewhere along the way there was a pink trail, in which we thought the red sign had just faded to pink. So we're almost at the 1-1/2 mile mark when we ended up having to finish the white trail hike .. 4 flipping miles! We were hiking in the Pinelands -- although it was so peaceful; we were in Nature; and there was plenty of brush and greenery, there were no birds to speak of, not even a squirrel in sight .. no wildflowers .. just a jungle, really. The last 2 miles were the longest/worst/treacherous .. the trail was very bumpy, lots of these huge tree roots that looked more like branches .. so we're having to climb over things, much of the trail was like walking up steps .. so I feel ya, Tee. I understand what you meant .. you weren't properly prepared to hike, you were tired, you already played b-ball .. you gotta be in the right head-space, and physically you need to be prepared. I love to be in Nature, have some good body exercise, but I'd much rather go bird-watching on a trail with beautiful 🌳🌿🪵🪺☘️ lakes, ponds .. see some wildlife 🐢🦆 🦢🐿️🐇🦌and lots of 🦅🦜🦉🐦⬛🕊️🦃🐦

I am from San Jose ❤❤ I am so glad you had a good time. We did have to move to Stockton because it got so expensive and it was hard to pay everything. San Jose is amazing ❤❤ if money was no issue I would definitely move back!

Try my native dish of England that we eat religiously on Sundays . We call the Sunday roast. Roast chicken or beef, roast potatoes. Yorkshire puddings , greens carrots. Gravy and all the trimmings

I used to live in SJ. Those prices ain’t no joke 😂 I had to get up and get out 🏃🏽♀️💨 I was paying $1700 for a 300 sq. ft studio with NO designated parking spot, NO private washer/dryer, across the street from section 8, and the unit was connected to my landlords house. Plus an extra pet fee every month 💀never again. Still in Cali but Silicon Valley wasn’t made for me lol
