SafetySuit gave one of the best concerts my husabnd and I ever went to. Two weeks after he died, I was sitting in a Hard Rock Cafe with our two small children and this video came up on the screen. I'd never heard it before.My world was in a million pieces, and I felt like this song was written just for me. Thursday will be a year since he died. I know now, a year later, that this song is SO very true. These times will pass. Our family is ok. I am ok. My children are ok. Thank you, SafetySuit.

I lost my older sister when I was 11, my mum when I was 17, my dad when I was 25 and my step-mum when I was 26. 4 days ago I left my boyfriend whom I loved so dearly because I caught him cheating. Even after sending the breakup email until now, he hasn't responded, not even for an apology, and I doubt if he ever will. Despite the hard times that I've been having, I forever thank Allah for making me strong and patient. Without His help and guidance, I am nothing.
It's sad that people would rather listen to songs about money, drugs, sex, and violence, than to listen to music that's as inspirational as this. These guys' songs have literally saved people's lives. I will forever love SafetySuit, no matter if their songs hit number 1 or not!
I had to google a list of all alt rock bands in alphabetical order and comb over it to search for the name of the band who sang a song back in 2012 that I listened to on repeat in the art building of my college campus while I worked all night on a project due the next day. I have been trying to remember it for years but couldn't think of how to look for it, but as soon as I got to "S" and saw SafetySuit it finally clicked! I am so happy now. Needed to share. This song rocks.

Every song from the album. The replay value is pretty much unlimited, and it's CLEAN. There aren't many bands that still have all of these musical traits. You know I’ve known this band for quite some time now and this is why I love them so much. This song and pretty much the whole “These Times” album is all about how bad our lives are right now for several of reasons. But remember, They. Will. Pass. Still brings a tear to my eye, "discovered" the song and the band about six years ago when I'd just been diagnosed with cancer; became my "anthem" for the next 4/5 months of fairly horrific surgeries, radio and chemotherapies; and I'm still here (obviously). I now work for a cancer charity and often point this out to people who are now where I was at then.
my brother passed away at the end of march (im a triplet we all have the same physical disability, so does my bf's brother), i saw these guys shortly before my brother went to live with jesus and began to cry, this song means so much to me. my boyfriend is in the military, we are both the only ones in our families who are able to have children, get married, live on our own, control ur futures i have no idea what i am to do in life but this song has made me realize all you need is FAITH and time.

For almost 7 years I haven't seen my son who was taken from me when he was 11...I prayed everyday for his return back to the U. S. He came back home a week ago....I couldn't believe it...he's now a young man....God answered my prayers...

I like how they show people with a variety of problems - not just people losing loved ones, or things we mostly consider to actually be tough times - but situations like bullying that are very real and very tough on people. It's like this video is reassuring people that 'yes, your problems are real; but, no, it's not the end.'
Hey I am just a teen girl. I don't have self harm problems, never been abused never done drugs .I live a great life and I feel like a big baby for saying this but my Mom recently right broke her arm while I was at a concert. I feel like it was my fault because if I wouldn't have gone to the concert it never would have happened. Could you please pray for her and that he arm heals great and she can move it normally soon?

Hey I know I already put a message on here but Please read this one to! A few days ago my friend overdosed on sleeping pills! Luckily she told someone that she felt funny and they brought her to the hospital! She is just getting out today. I was so scared for her when she wasn't answering! She is depressed and has bulimia.. I love music and when it has a meaning/message, like this song, it touches everyone who is lucky enough to hear it. When I saw the guy holding the sign saying my dad has Multiple Sclerosis, I about fell off my chair. I, too, have Multiple Sclerosis and I feel exactly what the lyrics of your song say. Thank you so much for doing such an inspirational song. You've touched so many hearts and minds.

I'm not allowed to speak to my girlfriend. I know it isn't such a huge deal, it's definitely not cancer, but it's pretty bad. I'm 20 years old, and since I'm in school I live with my mother, who has grounded me. She is keeping me from seeing or speaking to my girlfriend. No one gets it thought. She is so much more than my girlfriend. She is my best friend. My rock. My confidant. My freedom. My happy. My alarm clock. My routine. My everything. This is one of our favorite SafetySuit songs. It's so hard to push through this, but I have to believe that one day, I'll be back to her. They will pass.
I lost my Mom very suddenly in November then lost the job I actually loved two months later. My husband, myself and our 5 year old son live with my diabetic father-in-law (because it's all we can afford) who is slowly killing himself with alcohol while every effort we make to stop or help him makes no difference. This song gets me every time I listen to it but it reassures me that the hard times will soon pass for the good times to shine through. Our best friends are getting married next month and we are all in their wedding. Then after that, we are moving to a state where we will have more family support and a better opportunity at providing the life we want our son to have and hopefully have our own first house in a year or so. Thank you SafetySuit for this beautiful and encouraging song. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of those struggling in their life right now. Just hold on, these times WILL PASS.

This song made me think of the good in life. My grandpa passed, then a few months later my grandma. I just started to see my grandpa but i loved him a lot, then i heard he was gone, i was devastated. A few months later my grandma came to live with us and i loved her very much also, she went back to Florida to help my uncle and his soon to be born baby. She passed, it was another blow. I went to Florida for her funeral, but i got to see my new born baby cousin a few days after the funeral.
I first heard of these guys when they opened for Chris Daughtry. It was the only concert I took my Mother to. A few years later cancer took her. These times pass, but they can leave a terrible wound that never heals.
As Annie sang in her famous song,"The sun will come out tomorrow!" We have been given the gift of life, allow yourself time to experience it beyond the here and now. Allow yourself to see beyond the crap and gloom. Choose to be happy and let go of the control you think you have. Enjoy the journey and allow grace and faith to lead you. Faith in anything as long as it helps you to live for you and love you and rise up through the muck and pain of life and see it all for what it truly is.
What I tell myself to get me through the day is this: " I am having a bad day, my life can be difficult and sad but there are 6 billion people on this planet, and one of them is bound to have a day much worse than mine" I tell myself that everytime I wake up and it makes me realize that yes, my life has been tough, but my problems are insignificant to some of those who have lost everything. I pray for my day to get better, and also for those whose day is worse than mine...
This song really makes me tear up because I see all the people who can't pay their bills, have cancer, and worry about their families and I know what all of that is like. In the past 6 months I lost two people to cancer, both unexpectedly. One day they are diagnosed and the doctor says they have about a few months and really all they have is a few days or even a week...Hard to get passed it but I know that one day I will. Thanks for helping me keep that in mind SafetySuit.
Everyday, I would hear this song and sing it out loud. When I hear this song, in private or in public, i would sing this song. Many people always telling me to shut up, including my family. But I don't care. I will sing this song, and it will never get old.
I feel compassion for everyone and I can relate to many places in this song. Remember to love yourself because you are worth it. If that is all you can remember than remember that! I finally got my motorcycle license and then a new job. First day of work done and I went on a run but sprained my ankle. I lost the job and was unable to work for a month. I start walking again, get a new job, and two weeks into the new job I break my hand. I got an interview with a new job while having my broken hand and got it!!! These times are hard, but when I get my cast off in a month, I have a new job waiting for me and my motorcycle coming 2 months after. Life is hard, and frustrating, but these times definitely do pass. God is great.

As a breast cancer survivor (diagnosed at 23), this song was my theme song throughout my treatment and provided a lot of comfort and solace to me.

For almost 7 years I haven't seen my son who was taken from me when he was 11...I prayed everyday for his return back to the U. S. He came back home a week ago....I couldn't believe it...he's now a young man....God answered my prayers...

I like how they show people with a variety of problems - not just people losing loved ones, or things we mostly consider to actually be tough times - but situations like bullying that are very real and very tough on people. It's like this video is reassuring people that 'yes, your problems are real; but, no, it's not the end.'

Hey I am just a teen girl. I don't have self harm problems, never been abused never done drugs .I live a great life and I feel like a big baby for saying this but my Mom recently right broke her arm while I was at a concert. I feel like it was my fault because if I wouldn't have gone to the concert it never would have happened. Could you please pray for her and that he arm heals great and she can move it normally soon?
When I saw them last week in Lowell with Daughtry.. they said that they wrote this song because they wanted their fans to know that everyone goes through tough times, but that they will get better, and "they will pass" .. thank you, SafetySuit, for making me realize that what I am dealing with is NOT the end of the world, that things will get better, and that there is a light at the end of the tunnel

Hey I know I already put a message on here but Please read this one to! A few days ago my friend overdosed on sleeping pills! Luckily she told someone that she felt funny and they brought her to the hospital! She is just getting out today. I was so scared for her when she wasn't answering! She is depressed and has bulimia.. Please pray for her!! She needs it more then I do!

I love music and when it has a meaning/message, like this song, it touches everyone who is lucky enough to hear it. When I saw the guy holding the sign saying my dad has Multiple Sclerosis, I about fell off my chair. I, too, have Multiple Sclerosis and I feel exactly what the lyrics of your song say. I love this band so much. They sing about such relatable things, I feel like they're singing to ME.
I'm not allowed to speak to my girlfriend. I know it isn't such a huge deal, it's definitely not cancer, but it's pretty bad. I'm 20 years old, and since I'm in school I live with my mother, who has grounded me. She is keeping me from seeing or speaking to my girlfriend. No one gets it thought. She is so much more than my girlfriend. She is my best friend. My rock. My confidant. My freedom. My happy. My alarm clock. My routine. My everything. This is one of our favorite SafetySuit songs. It's so hard to push through this, but I have to believe that one day, I'll be back to her. They will pass.

I lost my Mom very suddenly in November then lost the job I actually loved two months later. My husband, myself and our 5 year old son live with my diabetic father-in-law (because it's all we can afford) who is slowly killing himself with alcohol while every effort we make to stop or help him makes no difference. This song gets me every time I listen to it but it reassures me that the hard times will soon pass for the good times to shine through. Our best friends are getting married next month and we are all in their wedding. Then after that, we are moving to a state where we will have more family support and a better opportunity at providing the life we want our son to have and hopefully have our own first house in a year or so. Thank you SafetySuit for this beautiful and encouraging song.

This song made me think of the good in life. My grandpa passed, then a few months later my grandma. I just started to see my grandpa but i loved him a lot, then i heard he was gone, i was devastated. A few months later my grandma came to live with us and i loved her very much also, she went back to Florida to help my uncle and his soon to be born baby. She passed, it was another blow. I went to Florida for her funeral, but i got to see my new born baby cousin a few days after the funeral.
I first heard of these guys when they opened for Chris Daughtry. It was the only concert I took my Mother to. A few years later cancer took her. These times pass, but they can leave a terrible wound that never heals.
I remember the day when this song first released on RUclips. 10 years already. Wow. Love this song.
As Annie sang in her famous song,"The sun will come out tomorrow!" We have been given the gift of life, allow yourself time to experience it beyond the here and now. Allow yourself to see beyond the crap and gloom. Choose to be happy and let go of the control you think you have. Enjoy the journey and allow grace and faith to lead you. Faith in anything as long as it helps you to live for you and love you and rise up through the muck and pain of life and see it all for what it truly is.
What I tell myself to get me through the day is this: " I am having a bad day, my life can be difficult and sad but there are 6 billion people on this planet, and one of them is bound to have a day much worse than mine" I tell myself that everytime I wake up and it makes me realize that yes, my life has been tough, but my problems are insignificant to some of those who have lost everything. I pray for my day to get better, and also for those whose day is worse than mine...

That's my mom's saying too. I had her handwrite it for me, it's not tattooed under my collar bone so she's always there speaking to me.

This song really makes me tear up because I see all the people who can't pay their bills, have cancer, and worry about their families and I know what all of that is like. In the past 6 months I lost two people to cancer, both unexpectedly. One day they are diagnosed and the doctor says they have about a few months and really all they have is a few days or even a week...Hard to get passed it but I know that one day I will. Thanks for helping me keep that in mind SafetySuit.
Everyday, I would hear this song and sing it out loud. When I hear this song, in private or in public, i would sing this song. Many people always telling me to shut up, including my family. But I don't care. I will sing this song, and it will never get old.
I feel compassion for everyone and I can relate to many places in this song. Remember to love yourself because you are worth it. If that is all you can remember than remember that! You are special and beautiful and worthy of your time and this world. The things you do matter and you contribute to this world we live in by just being yourself. Just being. No matter who you are. I finally got my motorcycle license and then a new job. First day of work done and I went on a run but sprained my ankle. I lost the job and was unable to work for a month. I start walking again, get a new job, and two weeks into the new job I break my hand. I got an interview with a new job while having my broken hand and got it!!! These times are hard, but when I get my cast off in a month, I have a new job waiting for me and my motorcycle coming 2 months after. Life is hard, and frustrating, but these times definitely do pass. God is great.
