I love how local news is treating this like a major crime, like they robbed a bank or shot someone. So three RUclipsrs walked through the mall and took pictures. Big deal. Century III at this point is dangerous as it gets. The interior moldy, filled with broken glass smashed from everything that isn't smashed into a wall, weakened in places by arson and a roof that can't support a person's weight in many spots, having nearly killed one who found out the hard way. And these dimbulbs decided to go in and start filming themselves taking potshots at what's left with a bow and arrow.
The malls ought to start having tours for people to reminisce of the good old days there instead of charging them with felonies. Misdemeanor at worst. I hope they do a jury trial and get acquitted.

@@HardrightBiBitch No, that building is completely done at this point. It would be cheaper to rebuild an identical mall there than to fix it. That said, the LAND itself is great for something like a big hospital or shelter. But we both know that won't happen, it'll probably either just sit there festering for 20 years, or become more *luxury apartments* that nobody who already lives in the area can afford.
Why? Damaged and derelict buildings bring down property value in the surrounding area, and as seen it's an invitation for criminal behavior to take place, and don't forget that with lack of maintenance required to keep safety regulations up to date...someone is very likely to become injured.
This mall, Century III Mall, experienced significant issues after it was sold to Moonbeam. Prior to the sale, there was round-the-clock security and various other amenities. However, since Moonbeam took over, the situation has deteriorated. It is unfortunate that Moonbeam has not been able to effectively manage and improve the mall. Perhaps it would have been better if the mall had remained under Simon's ownership. This mall has truly gone to hell and shit under the management of Moonbeam. They have allowed it to rot, with burst pipes and even fires occurring, showing a complete disregard for its maintenance and safety. It is infuriating that they claim to have no intention of demolishing it despite letting it reach such a deplorable state. The anger I feel towards Moonbeam is indescribable. Moonbeam has allowed the Century III Mall to deteriorate to a point where the foundation is failing. They have failed miserably in securing the mall, allowing vandals, scrappers, squatters, drug dealers, and illegal traders to freely enter and operate within its premises. It's absolutely infuriating to witness Moonbeam's incompetence and their complete disregard for the mall's well-being. Their work is nothing short of utter shit, and it's a disgrace to see the mall in such a deplorable state under their management. Moonbeam has simply stood by as every store in the Century III Mall closed down, making no effort to attract new anchors or tenants. They have allowed the mall to deteriorate to a state of utter shit, showing a complete lack of care or initiative. It is truly disheartening to witness their negligence and the resulting decline of the mall under their management. Moonbeam's management style seems to align well with purchasing dumps, as they have demonstrated a lack of competence in maintaining and improving the Century III Mall. It is disappointing to see their inability to effectively manage the property and their apparent disregard for its deterioration.
