Printer prints without stopping Blank Sheets (The Solenoid)

- What to do if the printer takes more than one page at a time, or it prints without stopping blank sheets of paper, the pick-up roller turns continuously and makes a paper jam. Probably you have a problem with the solenoid of the printer.
The solenoid is an activator for the paper pickup assembly. How to repair a solenoid.

The technical explanation that i'm looking for. Thank you very much. I have repaired my printer by the help of your wonderfull representation. Instead of removing the pads which becomes sticky, i have coverd them with a capton tape. Now it's working flawlessly.
Thanks dude, I have just put some duct tape between the solenoid and that metal thingy, so it would not stuck together anymore. Now the printer works like a charm again.
Just revived an old hp1018. First I thought it was the laser unit-changed. Then i started to dig deeper on RUclips. The arm coil was stuck. I've cleaned and put a small piece of double adhesive tape and not uncover the upper part and it works! Thanks!
Thanks, that was the problem with my ML-1640. After removing the sticky bit from the solenoid it works as new.
The solenoid on the ml 1860 is viewable once the toner is removed. It's in the bottom left. Would it be possible to dust the sticky pad with baby powder using a small brush which should stop it being sticky without having to disassemble?

hi sir, i have a printer Canon ImageClass MF3010, its getting paper jam when its enters into the pressor roller, i have checked the pressure roller and Teflon all are okay, and i have checked the Solonoid also, that is also good in releasing. and i have greased all the gears also, even though not solved the problem, any ideas
Cjeck the paper fingers, are they dirty? Try a ticker sheet a carton paper sheet to see if it remove something that could jam the paper
@@viandant5 i opened Fuser unit cleaned everything, changed the Pressure roller, Teflon roll, and greased gears., No dirty on the entrance, pickup roller also good, still issues
@@directsystems2225 May be the bushings are ovalized. What is the solenoid? do you mean the thermistor or thermostat?

Yes, if I remember well there is a solenoid on the side

here should be a tab in the cover that is inserted in a slot with a sensor. Check the sensor and the tab

I found the sensor on the motherboard, tested in EDC mode of the printer. it is functional. I can't seem to find the relationship between the error message and the actual failure.

@@viandant5 Everything ok, green led, but when I press print test, printer not run. Paper solenoid is not run. Not pick up paper. No signal. Only dry light is on. And then red led. Are you use Facebook?
