I met Johnny Depp when my Motorbike chain fell off and was trying to put It back on, on the the A3 in London. He pulled over and asked me if I wanted help or could he take me somewhere. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Such a good guy and mimicking my Lancashire accent. We were talking about his film and said this was the boring stuff and wanted to know about me. What I did for work and my life. He was filthy and so was I. My top was filthy and he went to his car and gave me a t-shirt and said it looked good on me. He was so genuinely lovely. It really is beyond belief to hear this money grabbing bitch after his money and saying crap about him. I was beat by my partner for many years. I don’t believe he could hurt a fly. All his exes have defended him. I adore Johnny Depp.

I want to thank Amber Heard for bringing the focus to those of us in this world who never would have known what a truly great man Johnny Depp is! I have always liked him okay in his movie roles, but I never had a clue about the kind, generous, intelligent, funny, soul that has been through so much pain (as many of us have) and continues to be a great gift to so many today.
I feel the same way about him. I always liked him in movies but never a huge fan. But now with all of this focus on him, he looks like a thoroughly good human being.
I m from India and i knew Johny depp as jack sparrow from pirates of the Caribbean but was not his fan though ...but now seeing all this case and all I have really become his fan , such a gentle soul he is ... support for Johnny depp from India 🇮🇳👍

I always liked him, respected him, loved his extreme talent and sweet and giving nature. I'm a straight guy with a drop dead gorgeous, perfect bodied little spinner and I would love to give Johnny a big hug. It's horrible that Disney dropped him lie a kicked shot glass off a 23 stories balcony. He is the reason you have a successful POC franchise. No Johnny, no POC, in my opinion and I always believed in him, especially with the Amber fiasco and new she was lying and the injuries just didn't add up or make sense.

Didn’t really care for another Hollywood star but after this trial, I have gotten to know the real Johnny Depp and under all those flaws and addictions there is a beautiful human being and I love him and had gained respect for him. I hope he gets the justice he needs.
When you're fighting that kinda abuse, you're bound to get addicted to such things to escape reality and that sort of thing. It's not his fault. He's just a human being, like all of us. Nobody's perfect.

This trial has made me a Johnny Depp fan. I wouldn't be surprised if he wins the case, if he decides not to collect the 50 million for himself.
I really hope he does more movies. I will make it a point to support his work.
I don't know if that's still a current issue but I heard he had money problems at some point. I truly think he deserves to keep all of the 50mil because Amber did cost him alot of his high income roles *but* I'm pretty sure he will still donate a big chunk of it.
Unfortunately, I doubt he'll win the case - not because he doesn't deserve to win it (he does), but because of the massive burden of proof that is required (in legal terms) for it to succeed. However, I'm certain there's no way the counter-suit from Ms Heard's side will succeed either. My guess is they'll both walk away with nothing (except for a substantial legal bill each), but Johnny will have succeeded in winning back the hearts and minds of those who doubted him, start making big movies again, and hopefully get some closure on the whole tragic affair and start to heal. (That said, I would love to see his case succeed).

Even if he were to win, I'm sure there will be years of appeals and such.
I think the hard part is that it's not some broad case. My understanding is that it is pretty specific to a point in time and a specific thing Amber did. Basically like, she did stuff after their divorce that hurt Depp, and her defense is that his career was already hurt before that article.
I would boycott Aquaman 2 with Amber in in, but that movie isn't just her. Many other actors in there that don't deserve to be caught up in all this.
I agree with you about this case and its' publicity is the win for Depp. I never cared much about Depp before this. I liked the pirates movies, but never more than that. Now after seeing and hearing all this, and the positive PR being pushed by main stream media, I care about Depp. Hopefully I'm not a victim of deceptive media stuff.

What does seem apparent though, is that the burden of proving a whole chain of things rests on Mr Depp's side - and it won't be easy to prove all those things to the extents required by the law (e.g. they have to prove that Ms Heard was lying about being beaten, whereas she doesn't have to prove that she was telling the truth - and that's only one of the things they need to prove in order to get any damages awarded in their favour).
Johnny Depp has always been an intensely private person (like a number of other well respected actors with decades-long careers), so he was very vulnerable to a character assassination from someone like Amber Heard, since the public knew relatively little about him outside of his career. I'm sure bringing his personal life (and his friends and family) into the global spotlight has been very difficult for him - it's pretty clear he's had to suffer immensely before finding there was no other option than making his side of the story public and exposing Amber for what she is. The more I see of this trial, the more I believe he really did whatever he could to avoid destroying her reputation.
@@CommentsAllowed he genuinely seems like a great person (that opening clip is at a children's cancer ward here in australia), but there's also a reason why drugs and alcohol destroy lives. regardless of a person's demeanour when they are sober, all bets are off if they are deep in drugs and alcohol, and that is compounded by age.

I was never a Johnny Depp fan before this trial; I’ve never seen any of his movies or concerts. Now I have come to learn what a talented artist he is; actor, painter, sculptor and singer. I have come to learn that he absolutely adore his kids, friends and fans. He has his demons but who doesn’t? I hope he emerges from the trial a strong person knowing he is very much loved by many. Justice for Johnny and I will see his next movie, you can count on that.

we all have our own demons. his though are ones that only hurt him. His anger and yelling is totally understandable when you have a partner who seems to be actually plotting against you. The substance abuse is something people need to stop assuming its a sign of a person who is is of low moral standard. People that are struggling with addiction often is because they cant deal with the things in their life. Yet most rehab places dont address that and only care they arent using. The drugs are a reaction to the problems and if they still have those problems they will go back to the drugs eventually or they will end up hurting themself. That doesnt mean they are immoral, often just desperate. Im so glad people saw that an addict can still be a good person. Even when they are not good to themself
Luckily for the world, ..he doesn't attack the world because of them... and i trust and BELIEVE that from Amber ...he will conquer even those demons JUST FOR US WHO LOVE HIM!!

The patient is now doing well again, but at the time she was in her lowest point, and the fact that one of her heroes took the time to respond to her made her ecstatic.

No matter what decision the jury chooses, Johnny has already won. He got his truth out there to the world. Then the tragic truth came out and I was VERY UPSET AND SAD FOR JOHNNY 😥😥😥 He is such an incredibly gentle and caring soul. I hope and pray for healing for Johnny and for him to feel all of his fans LOVE and Caring for Johnny 💖💖💖 none of that ever should have happened to him!!! He is out of it now and I am so happy he seems to be doing well. It is a Trauma and he most likely tragically will have that. Just because he was slamming cabinets and saying things (evidences used in court during their trial), I believe it doesn't mean that you are the worst person. There's a story behind everything and they knew what really happened and what's the truth. Mr. Depp is also a human being - capable of feelings (e.g., anger, happiness, excitement, fright, and etc.) so do not use those things against him. This video just proved how gentle he is. His daughter even said wonderful things to him and to her mother which means they are good individuals - if not better.
The man's a true honest to goodness class act. Top notch good guy,and I hope he can find what truly makes him happy and no one can take it away. He deserves so much for what he's given.

Several disorders common among abuse and neglect would like a word with you. Sometimes a child's love transcends pain and suffering and only feels sadness and guilt instead of hate, even when they finally resolves all those emotions.

Having seen Johnny through the many years of his career in various films of different genres and stories, nothing screams out to me that he would be willfully violent to anyone. I feel like the sheer idea of violence would frighten him. The way he presents himself, the momentary pauses, the words he speaks, all show his true character.
I was shocked and disappointed to see someone so manipulative try to drag someone like Johnny down and make him seem so far less than the world knows him to be. He does everything because he WANTS to, NOT because he has to.

Yes - his sister's testimony explains it perfectly. His coping mechanism, learned from a very young age, is to retreat in the face of confrontation. I recognize it very much - confrontation in people like this, and like myself, brings on overwhelming anxiety... overwhelming. It comes with a physical effect and everything in your mind and body screams "retreat". This is why you hear him in all the video clips explaining to Amber that he needs to go away for a few minutes, a few hours, etc. and then, will come back to work things out.
This however, is a disastrous dynamic because with Amber, she feels things MUST be settled right then - for someone to retreat brings her overwhelming anxiety (As I understand from the psychologist). You hear her in one audio clip explain she will die if he retreats. It's all very sad.
The reason he does not "run like hell" as @Barefoot Pro said in this thread (which is a very logical thing to think) is because this type of relationship, the toxicity, is the relationship modeled by his parents. As a parent, you MUST model the types of healthy relationships and behaviors you wish for your children because 99% of the time, those are the relationships they seek and attract to when they are older.
I think, perhaps for Johnny, he thought he could help Amber - it seems to be his nature - to want to help people and why not the person he loves? However, untreated personality disorders and other mental illness, which they seem to both have (no shame) - it’s jut not going to work.
As for the drugs - he used “feel good” drugs - coke, ecstasy, opiates - those seem to be in an effort to numb. His heavy use seemed to be marked when things really started to take a turn for the worse in the marriage in terms of arguments and fighting. I can tell you from personal experience, getting off opiates, you can not do it in 6 days - impossible without a medicated assisted treatment. You do not detox from opiates in 6 days - day 6, that’s when shit really hits the fan. It is mentally, physically, and emotionally taxing (even with medicated assisted treatment or MAT).
@@Doriesep6622 It is very hard when this is the type of relationship modeled by your parents. His sister testified that their mom and dad were toxic to each other. His mother often hit him and even then at that young age, his coping mechanism was to retreat - confrontation brings him great anxiety. It is very common for people to engage in relationships modeled by their parents. Often, people who had abusive parents (abusive to each other) will end up in an abuse relationship themselves. I can 100% understand why he did not run.
