Thanks man, i'm glad you liked it. The game is crossplay so we need to play some matches sometime.

Just so you know, you can get all of the skins for free - they have a currency converstion that lets you change one type of currency to another meaning you can just use your earned in game currency to buy any of the skins in the shop. To me that makes a huge difference, as a player that pretty much never buys digital assets I'd much rather support a company that gives me the option to never spend human money on something as silly as a digital skin. I'm fine with them letting people buy currency because there's also a free way to achieve the same skins and there are no skin tiers locked behind a 'you MUST give us human money for this!' wall like Overwatch 2 did, which ensures a sort of unfairness for skin aquisition because some people are just not able or willing to spend their hard earned dollars on digital skins. I honestly wasn't expecting it either, most games these days are so scummy with their battlepasses and monetization that Rivals has actually earned some of my cash through simply being actually fair, and in my experience if you love a game you should/would have spent up to $60 to play it.

I fully agree. NetEase's currency practices are completely fair in this game so far. I actually spent money on one of the skins in the shop, and I had enough coins left over to also buy the Rocket Racoon Christmas skin today. That's a win IMO. Never have I had enough coins to buy two overwatch skins.

I agree, role queue removes the fun out of the game, maybe just in the higher ranks

Absolutely. I like the unpredictability of the match dynamics in Marvel Rivals right now. Role queue just feels a little restrictive. Plus it may create queue times for certain roles.
