We got started with one daylily in a backyard garden and 40 years later....here we are! We can attest that they are 100% addictive!! (But so much fun!) Thanks for watching
I was just thinking that it’s time to break out of my daylily comfort zone when I saw this video. Loved seeing all those flowers up close and so glad Ken named them for us!! It’s only September … there’s still time to place another order 😊🦋
Gardening almost makes one feel like an artist, transforming the mundane landscape into an explosion of colors, textures, shapes. I'm addicted to flowers, especially daylilies. (And then there are Japanese maples) 😊 That Andy's Awe is one I don't yet have. I'll add it to my list of must haves. Red Volunteer is my favorite red. The only thing that could make it better be would be if it rebloomed. Our mailman retired and I gave him a Red Volunteer. He would sometimes stop to look at my plants.
@@OakesDaylilies Thanks, he's a beauty, and I have a birthday coming up soon. I will put that one in my wish list. My kids always get me something for my garden.

Whether it be daylilies or other flowers, vegetables or fruit, we think gardening is an artform, too. We agree wholeheartedly with you!
Ahh, yes, Daylily Math! It's real!
What was the name of that beautiful purple/white bicolor you showed?
Thanks for the concise explanations.
That was Andy's Awe-- a beauty! oakesdaylilies.com/product/andys-awe/

Yes it is ....I'm taking Advanced Daylily math as well as chicken math. 😁
Can you do a video with the same set up where you go through your personal favorites? (10 to 20 maybe)
That's a great idea! It will be hard to nail them down, but I'll give it a try and shoot it at some point this summer. Thanks for the suggestion!
