Ronald mestre
Brunner is like The Beatles all over again. The crowds go into rapture. Even chicks dig his drumming
Please tell the name of 2.00 solo
As I See:
Ron is Elvin
Tony is Max
Thomas is Art
And Mike Mitchell is all of them put together
Tony?
@@filipkasprzyk9564 Tony Royster
No shade ... Only thunder ...😝
Ronald Bruner, Tony Royster Jr and Thomas Pridgen. Which one do you prefere?
I'm a Pridgen man, but they're all phenomenal!
That's like saying which can you live without Air Water or Food?
@@fabianmorkel8327 That's true, haha
I got to say Bruner. Tony and Thomas were among the godfathers of the gospel chops no doubt, but this guy is on another level.
@@DrumApe that's true. See Brunner playing is like witnessing a miracle
I want to know what this guys doing like what are a few patterns he uses a lot? If u could get a fourth of his chops I'd be so grateful
Transcribe then
Bruh I cant transcribe that shit. Idk what he is doing because it's so fast
Actually if I were to guess he does a lot of triplets on bass drum during his beats and uses krkl and or krl or klr. So it's like hes a faster jazzier bonham. Except idk if he uses double pedal if he didnt thatd be cool
@@dylanbaldwin7934 to be honest it doesnt matter what patterns he uses, in my point of view its more like you have to implement and emulate the sound and orchestration hes using, focusing on the way he uses different sized groupings, accents etc. Many of his phrases can be played in different ways, find what way works for you and go for his sound. Maybe make yourself clear what exactly he does to create interesting phrases, question and answer, which types of motifs does he repeat etc. how does it correspond to the other instruments etc. Hope this helps (as for a pattern which might be interesting is LRLRRLL RLR, try to use that one in different ways)
@@dylanbaldwin7934 Billy Cobham imo
最高(´;ω;`)
I got impaled by a drum stick at close proximity at a RBJ gig
Samsgarden sounds lovely ♡
Is he in any way related to Stephen Bruner?
Yup, they are brothers :)
@@DrumCompilations im sitting next to Ronald right now!!!!!!!
Sorry, but I hear the same solo over and over again. Of course he has so much ease that maybe he always goes as fast and flashy as he can... but drumming isn't that. Drumming is about the groove, different rhythms, different cultures and feels. I don't know, maybe I'm just tired of this gospel chops... And before someone bashes me, I would never be able to play what he plays, never, ever... and of course he is a genius... but that's not the point... I was listening to Carter Beauford's playing last weekend... it's so unique, so creative... Carter is not at this level of technique, but the instant you hear Carter lay down a groove, you know it's him... and it's so perfect for the songs, for the music he plays...
Damn you got a good ear
Watch his performance with George Duke and that will change ur mind
