You might have missed the fix to Inferno Firestaff dot too! It wasn't listed under firestaff, but in general, from the patch notes: "Status effects that scale stat modifiers over time now behave correctly when the potency of that status effect is changed while it's active."
Curious to see how those armour weight changes feel in practice, thanks as always for an informative breakdown as I never read patch notes, only refer to your videos!
If you think the community isn't vocal about more PvP content then I am not sure what community stops you visit... it's constantly spammed to the point of being straight up annoying on Reddit, Discord, in game, in company chats... anywhere I go. What actually needs to happen is for this big imaginary PvP community to show up when PvP updates are made. Big PvE update? Big spike in players. Big PvP update? Same players playing. Don't be surprised that AGS focuses on content that players show up for.
@@heartless_gamer I'm more referring to creators being more vocal but you are right, only thing with that is there really has not been a "big" pvp update as compared to pve updates. The combat changes and native c+ to help them adjust and work on desync hopefully is that foundational step towards really dropping truly new and engaging pvp content. But we will see, love this game, hope it goes in the right direction.
Yeah I the pvp is dead and boring tbh. OPR is corny and 2/3 of the games are a complete massacre. Seem like whatever team has life staff users or pre made win. Arenas are lame af like 7 people play them. Idk what they need to do but what they have now isn’t it
Man.. I'll be honest. I love the PvP in this game, and I would love to see more PvP content added, BUT it's not a deal breaker for me either. I don't need a game mode or rewards to get me into PvP. All I want to do is fight people. So, for me, a new OPR map or gamemode is nice, but not a massive deal (I know the current opr map has flaws). I always hear from the PvP crew that they don't get any content, and this is where I HARD disagree. I would much rather see a new weapon added to the game vs. a new pvp game mode. Not only is this better for the games' overall audience, but for me, playing with a new toy to fight people with is the greatest update they can give. Artifacts added and changed entire playstyles, things that weren't possible in PvP before now. I would rather gain new weapon combos and playstyle vs. getting a new pvp mode. So in brutal honesty I don't think PvP players properly appreciate most of the updates they get for pvp, and I don't want to make content around people complaining about PvP. Been there before and it sucked.
@@KristoferESO I feel you man. I been watching you since ur eso days so ppl complaining isn’t new. But I think I agree they need more content , that’s my issue. Opr is ok but I feel like there’s no way to (really) impact the game unless ur healer. 3v3 just doesn’t have enough population for me. I like new world it’s unique and fun , just frustrating at times
NW devs really hate light armor! We can see it on live but now it's confirmed by patch notes. Why can't they do the armor weights like soulslike, where all can do the dodge roll but influenced by the armor load?
Not sure how you can say this when Light ruled for the first year of the game. Then Medium got it's time in the sun. Now Heavy is getting it's sunburn. These changes all seem logical; lots to see how they fair in practice to firm up. Also even with Light in the state it is currently; every single top tier player I know runs light. None of them run Med or Heavy excepting when asked to in war. Good player + Light is still the apex predator in this game's PvP.
@@heartless_gamer well I have just returned after a very long break and light for me feels to squishy and I don't seem to do enough dmg vs heavy or even medium players, while they can kill me in a cc chain. I know I'm very rusty but I don't remember light being so underwhelming.
@@gabrielmnt4119 That is because it is not obvious on how to maximize "light equip load". There is a massive difference between wearing all light armor pieces vs a maximized "light equip load" using Featherweight artifact chest + Frigid Dawn pieces. Or a light build using Tumbler Feet Wraps and Shirking Heals or Fort. And dieing in a CC chain is not unique to light. I die in heavy armor + 300 CON all the time to CC chains; especially if they have a knockdown that you can't do anything about if it gets you on your back.

I wish the community would be more vocal about pvp content being added, this game needs a big pvp content pump!

The penalties to light were no where NEAR as severe as the nerfs to heavy.
Heavy: 15% damage nerf
Light: 3 second stun is bow 3.3 seconds.
Whoopie do…
