@@flacko9706most games will leave you in the dark as to where to go and what to do to progress in an efficient way. Most games will teach you the mechanics in great length even when some of them are not useful. 2k made an OP mechanic and just left people to discover it by themselves.
In addition to the up/down and down/up combo you can also double throw up and down too to trigger the contact dunk.

Idk about the guy standing between us and the rim explanation. For me, I’ve noticed as long as I have speed boosted or got a quick first step animation, then I get the big green window. However if I’m just running then it usually ends up small for the contested. My tip would be to speed boost into all your driving dunks. I have a 86% FG in the paint and I always use the meter dunk

I use a 93 driving dunk with a 82 vert and I’m doing pretty good considering the fact I’m 6’9 but I see a difference because I also got your first lebron build with 94 driving dunk and 96 strength but I made a replica Mcgrady build also.

I had a question, I went out and bought every single dunk I qualified for including dunk packages with NBA players names, do you think it’s detrimental to have them all thus confusing your player which ones to use? I have a 6’10 shot blocking wing with 7’7 wingspan I also have 89 driving dunk with a 90 vert. Do you think my dunk meter will be better than the average 89 dunk 78 vert or just as huge green window like 94 dunk 80 vert ?

I have an 86 driving dunk and it’s still pretty effective. Meter is a bit smaller but still not difficult to time

Being a big this year feels great on offense but defense can be tough with blocking.
I think bigs on offense and defense are great. The key for me is to have a higher perimeter on your big. I have a 6'10 with 80 perimeter and 92 strength. Being able to cut off your guy and stay in front is the most important thing for defense. If you can always stay between your man and the rim you are good.

Idk what your rating is but try David Robinson base with Sengun release. Put Sengun 60-70% and choose your 2nd preferred release. If you can’t use Robinson base, go with Powell base

since hitting starter 3 I was able to equip the jordan package... when messing around in the gatorade or art of shooting a rarely get the FT line dunk to pop up and I was wondering if there is any dunk package that prioritizes there dunk over that dunk? also have tried it with the meter and no success

I understand the logic and all but there are times where the defender is out side of the paint and the meter is as small as if they were standing under the basic. Doesn't make sense

Love this tutorial. The next plan is to find players that will give me the proper spacing to even do this. Randoms in the rec will never give you space to do this lol.
All they do is set screens and clog the paint. They’ve never heard of spacing, it’s a foreign concept.

Got a 6'8 with 78 vert, 90 driving dunk for gold precision dunker and it's pretty nice too, nice middle ground without needing to get to 94 dunk

If they are between you and the basket it’s tiny every time. Now if you can bury them under the rim then it’s huge no matter where they are. If your right under the basket it should be huge but it is still 2k so it’ll mess up
Does ball handle/speed with ball have an affect on the size of the meter? I know it would help but If you have a lock with somewhat of a 3 ball its kinda difficult to put that in a build!!!

Well my 6’11 got 93 driving dunk with a 89 vertical but this video help way more and I get every contact duck with a 93 and gold poster so I think 93 is the cap not 94

Just made my 6’7 with 94 driving dunk. None of my other builds have any finishing besides layup
I got a 90 dunk with 78 and a 87 with 75 vert and the meter slightly smaller but it’s still a big meter
I been trying it in my nba practices and it turns it into a layup. It says “make sure contact dunk is equipped” but I cant find anything to equip it

is an 84 driving dunk still good enough to get a big green window consistently? especially for a big?
no 87 driving dunk bare minimum with 75 vertical is the window for decent contact dunks. 94 driving dunk and 82 vert is the sweet spot. 90 with 78 vert is also good
