I missed you guys doing another dedicated Galaxy's Edge video. It's the reason I started watching you two. Some really interesting new food options this time! Made Ronto Wraps at home today. lol
What I find interesting is that a lot of these creatures and characters didn't really have names when the original movie came out. They didn't get named until later on after they became an icon. Salacious was just Jabba's pet slave creature. His species wasn't even named yet. You also had to stand in a massive line with costumed people just to get into the movie. It was insane.
I get your point But… puts nerd glasses on, salacious was named before the film came out by Phil Tippet and I believe the name was in the credits and also on the action figure timed to the films release.
I was born in '72, and my grandmother took me to see all three movies. We were able to get in to see them without any problems at all at the time of release. I don't recall there being extraordinarily long lines, and we didn't have to wear costumes to get in to see the movies. That might have been a New York or LA thing.

girl you look good for 40 what does blue milk taste like? I saw mixed reviews when i was there so i couldn't trust myself id like it for that price, because everyone who was walking by was like "ew" or the green milk was a bit better, tbf it could be different..
Blue milk features flavors of dragon fruit, pineapple, watermelon and just a subtle hint of lime. To be honest we didn’t love it when we first tried it but it has really grown on us

The new lightsaber stand, connector ring and Sith Wayfinder are good examples of reincorporating existing merch, particularly the kyber crystals, in a fun and imaginative way. If only the parks were willing to pay actors like Mark Hamill or Harrison Ford, or even professional sound-alikes such as Doug Lee to record voice clips for items like Luke Skywalker's compass. I could imagine Donald Glover recording Lando logs, perhaps to go with those Lando capes we're still waiting on, Disney? Anyway, I want a squeaking Elee now. ^ _ ^ That's adorable.
kitra you should buy the kids stuff you love, and cut it out and sew it on a jean jacket, and have a jean jacket full of patches, I think it would be so cute

As I’m watching I’ve recently seen advertisement for the new Star Wars show the Acolyte and it’s a short clip of a Wookie Jedi and so when he said Kashyyyk and kyber crystals being on the planet I thought it was cool and interesting this is really fun to see other non humanoid species shown 💛

Hi Guys: Great coverage as usual. Do you know if any other new foods/drinks/merch have migrated to WDW Galaxy's edge? FL always seems to get things later than CA, it seems. Kitra, did you actually buy the "guinea pig"? David
The only thing that I think has migrated is the coldbrew black calf. Disneyland and wdw have different food teams that create the food in each resort so aside from the things that started when both lands opened (those were mostly the same) all the additions are usually unique. Disneyland tends to change out their food more seasonally compared to Disney world. So Disney world has a lot of dishes that Disneyland stopped selling in galaxy’s edge years ago like the Kaduu ribs. I think they do that because wdw tourists like returning and having their favorite dishes so they don’t change as much.
FWIW Kitra I thought you looked great in that Princess Leia tee. My 40th is also upcoming next year, I'm coping by planning a trip to Japan over Christmas, and then a trip to LA and Disney next February!

We finally got to see Galaxy’s Edge on May 13th. Took our son to Disneyland for his 7th birthday which was May 14th. He had a blast and his favorite ride was Star Tours 😊
Hopefully if they release the cal kestis saber again they fix a issue. I've been seeing some people the speaker is broke and its not fixable. So if they do a non limited release it will be fixed.

I agree! I wish the voice on the wayfinder was recorded by the emperor, but the voice is kinda a generic actor.

I usually use kayak for plane and hotel unless you’re staying at a Disney resort (I think you have to book through Disney)
