8:20 Yeah, it's a wording thing that you're not understanding.
When talking x86, it basically means the architecture, hardware and software. Machines that have Intel x86 based CPUs, that run OSs such as Windows, Linux, or some versions of MacOS (on a Mac that contained an Intel CPU). They're basically talking about Intel CPU or AMD CPU machines.
    Short history:
Intel released the original x86 architecture back in the late 70's, it ran 16 bit code back then. AMD partnered with Intel for use of the x86 architecture in the early 80's, Intel and AMD basically share and cross license patents. 32 bit code was added to the architecture in the mid 80's. About 20yrs ago, we started the transition from 32 bit to 64 bit instructions. A new extension (developed and by AMD) was added to the x86 architecture, the new 64 bit capable architecture is called x86-64. It started with the CPUs, then the OS and programs followed. The move to 64 bit also increase the amount of RAM that could be accessed and used. 32 bit has a 4 GB RAM limit while 64 bit has a theoretical RAM limit of about 17 billion GB. We're going to be on 64 bit for a while as there's really no practical reason to move from it anytime soon. Processors have been 64 bit for the past 2 decades, but we still have legacy 32 bit OS and programs being released and used still. 64 bit processers kept backwards compatibility with 32 bit and 16 bit codes but it's up the OS whether they'll run it or not. 64 bit OS/CPU can still run 32 bit code, but won't run 16 bit code. 16 bit code will run on a 32 bit version of Windows using a 64 bit CPU though. 64 bit Windows dropped support for 16 bit code and I wouldn't be surprised if 32 bit code gets dropped eventually too.
Microsoft calls their 64 bit versions of Windows x64 to differentiate from the 32 bit Windows versions. I guess x86-64 was just too long for them or didn't sound/look as nice as x64.

$12.60!? They're probably taking a huge loss on this. Sucks it's not compatible with ARM, I'm sure you could just back it up, reformat it to exfat and then restore the contents. I don't know why they don't use exfat since it's compatible with everything, OSX, PC, Linux, ARM, Android, you name it.
This is great for anyone who has a extremely limited budget and bandwidth with their ISP.
Is this a mechanical 2.5 inch drive or a EMMC, SATA, or NVME?
Think of X86 being 32bit and X64 being 64bit, 64bit being backwards compatible with 32bit.
    Great review. :)

Not bad at all, I dunno why they don't use exFAT since it's compatible with every OS.
    Is this a mechanical drive?
Would be great for people who have limited bandwidth and a budget to get some roms.
    Great review!
