Trans Peer Work by ACON

To offer peer support to trans and gender diverse peoples living in New South Wales, the Mental Health Commission of NSW worked with ACON and funded a pilot trans peer navigation program - P4T.
P4T - a free telehealth service, provided peer support and referrals to adult trans people and helped them with personal resilience, mental health, and gender-related distress through peer support.
The pilot project has now expanded and developed into a full service called Trans Mental Health and Wellbeing Support Service.
