these two give the same type of energy as artist. they both write their own songs from the soul and they don't pander to whatever sound is currently popular. to this day their music is still distinctly their sound and it's beautiful.

Love this song. We saw Alicia in Abu Dhabi and she was great. George Michael was the headliner but Alicia stole the show... Wish John Mayer had been there as well. Now that would've been a party!!!!

I just hate when people make the comment that everyone is a particular way because of their own isolated experience with a certain person in their own lives. It's a true testament of stupidity & ignorance. NOT ALL MEN ARE THE SAME!!!! John Mayer is brilliant not perfect, he's a flawed individual like we all are, cast stones only if you're free from being flawed otherwise stop passing judgment.
@Gproducshizz It's great work collectively. An improvised solo such as John's here has great value. You can transcribe a solo, but you can't just replicate the exact musicianship and emotion in the context of a certain event. All the players deserve credit. I think becuase John and Alicia are the 'recognised artists' here it can be thought of as a duet. At the end of the day, what is music about? If the musicians enjoy playing and any listeners gain something from listening then job done!

@sweetheartcandy93 She has a great, it was her usage that was a problem. No one ever denied that she has a beautiful tone or timbre because she really does. This was a time period of her straining, she worn out her vocals during this time, and that's why it sounds like she was out of tune.

Hendrix has the talent of letting lose like a tiger and can create beauty from chaos while Clapton is a man who treats each note like a child. It's too different too compare man.
