I like how Dias' suit is actually just a recycled Ultraman Orb Burnmite suit. Also, there are rumors that Diavolo might be Dias from the past. If that's true, that could mean that Diavolo himself wasn't born an Absolutian, but became one instead. Can't wait to watch the rest of the episodes
It's true. According to official sources,Diabvolo was a student of Alude's. And we know Tartarus recruits from anywhere and any time,like with early Belial and early Tregear.
I’m leaning more towards the idea that Diavolo is training incognito as a friendlier looking alien humanoid, gaining the power of the Cosmo Beast style for himself and the Absolutian Kingdom without giving away their existence to the rest of the universe too soon. It’s also possible that his current form isn’t a disguise and is simply what he looked like before he gained the power of the Cosmo Beasts for himself and changed into his current form, either way, I like the idea of Dias being a younger Diavolo posing as a friend to D60’s inhabitants until he no longer requires them, makes his rivalry with Regulos that much more personal and intense (assuming we’re not wrong about Dias in the end of course lol). I’m eager to see what happens next too, good eye on recognizing the recycled Burnmite suit, I didn’t notice it myself lol.

I’ve been looking forward to this new web series for a while now, great first episode, can’t wait to see how things play out next episode. I love Regulos’ costume design, has an old meets new look and feel to it, definitely seems right at home alongside classic Showa Ultras like Leo, simply but cool instead of over designed. The Cosmo Beast fighters look great too, despite their animal motifs they still look and feel like proper ultra aliens, can’t wait to see more of them in action, especially the snake and dragon fighters. I also can’t wait to see the Alien Magmas return, I always felt it was a shame that the original Alien Magma made such a strong first impression in the early episodes of Leo but his rivalry with the titular hero kinda flatlined and ended unceremoniously, so I like the idea of the main villains of this series being the main invasion fleet that actually destroyed Leo and Astra’s home world, builds the Magmas up to be a much bigger threat and gives Reg and his friends a real challenge to overcome. Also, I know this is probably a long shot, but I REALLY hope Red and Black Gillas make a return in this series (the most memorable monsters from Ultraman Leo), it would be appropriate given how they were the pets of the first Alien Magma, so it stands to reason these new Magmas might have more Gillas kaiju under their command as attack dogs of sorts. Just wishful thinking, but it would be extra icing on the cake if they returned as well, I’m still pumped to see what happens next with or without them.
Having Red and Black Gillas return would be great, it's about time those dudes got the recognition they deserve There were publications that stated Commander Black was the mastermind behind the Magma invasion, so it'd be great if we got a Saucer Beast returning too, maybe an underused one like Blizzard or Alien Bunyo
I think the predictions about Dias and Diavolo are true. 1st reason: The names are almost similar 2nd reason: They both have horns 3rd reason: They almost have the same color scheme, just that Dias is almost covered in black and gray with some gold and he’s also wearing some kind of helmet 4th: The voices are also the same with Dias just having a lighter tone while Diabolo has a deeper one 5th: They both have the same pose with keeping their right hand on their lower half of the body where a belt would be. Diavolo had this same pose when talking to Titan in UGF TDC episode 6 6th: Regulos had a rivalry and grudge against Diavolo and Dias fits into the reason why as he most likely is a Absolutian in disguise or this is his real form but later was transformed into one as Diavolo

Thanks for the upload. I'm glad it's a release with the japanese audio plus the subs. As for the story, not really feeling the whole amnesic thing for Regulos but since it might have a payoff in the future, I'm giving it the benefit of doubt. Also, really glad they got Miku Ito to voice Spica. Given her foundness of Tokusatsu, it's really good seeing they got her to do something in a series. Akira Ishida as the recycled Burnmite, I mean, Dias is interesting specially if he ends up being Diavolo in disguise. Either way, can't hear his voice and remember of Kiyoshiro from Digimon...
Men.. I love how they redo the L77 explosion it reminded me of Ultraman Leo opening , really appreciated the back story and the story great job tsuburaya!!❤

作品後半からめちゃ強になり、最強格のゼロの師匠だもんな
一つだけ違和感があるとすれば、レオに貫禄が現在のソレに近すぎる事かな。
本編開始時のレオは精神的に未熟者で、とりあえず突っ込んでボコボコにやられてからダンの特訓(ほぼ拷問)…からの再戦のスタンを繰り返してようやく強くなった大器晩成型ウルトラマンでしたし(ダンの制止を振り切って勝手に変身する事もしばしばなぐらいに未熟だった)

これが『レオ』第1話以前の出来事ってことは、当然地球でダン隊長の特訓を受ける前って事よね。
そうなると、当時のレオが初戦では手も足も出なかったギラス兄弟やツルク星人、カネドラスやケンドロスといった連中って、いったいどんだけ強かったのよw
案外、当初のレオは想定外の戦い方をされると本来の実力が出ないタイプ『だった』のかもしれない。
ダンとの特訓はどっちかというと精神を鍛える修行でしたから。
試合では強い空手の有段者も、ストリートファイトになると街のチンピラに負けちゃう場合があるのと似ているかもしれない。
昔、極真の指導員やってた友人が飲みに出てチンピラと小競り合いになったんだけど、県下の大会では表彰台の常連だった友人が、やたらと喧嘩慣れしたチンピラ相手に何もできず簡単に伸されて地面に引きずり回されてたそう。ルールのある道場の試合と街の喧嘩とは違うんだと思った。試合で強くても実際の喧嘩に強いとは限らないってことだと思う。

As for the story, not really feeling the whole amnesic thing for Regulos but since it might have a payoff in the future, I'm giving it the benefit of doubt.
Also, really glad they got Miku Ito to voice Spica. Given her foundness of Tokusatsu, it's really good seeing they got her to do something in a series.
Akira Ishida as the recycled Burnmite, I mean, Dias is interesting specially if he ends up being Diavolo in disguise. Either way, can't hear his voice and remember of Kiyoshiro from Digimon...

レオのOP冒頭部が流れるとテンション上がるな。
この時のレオって地球でダンに鍛えられる前の時間軸？ レオ一話に比べて強い気が？
セブンとマスター の宇宙拳法の対談したら すごく盛り上がりそうだけど 指導方法に関しては真逆かも。
アストラを連れてこいよってレグロスが割と気軽に言っているから故郷である獅子座L77星が壊滅する以前の話なのかも知れない、それか片腕に付いているブレスレットが無いのでキングに会う以前且つ地球でアストラと再会した後辺りの話(レオのTV本編第22話後〜26話の開始の間辺りかな？)なのかも知れない。
それやっぱり思いますよね😅
レオの宇宙拳法が1話時点より、洗練されてるというか……
まあ、あの頃はメタ的な事情もあるでしょうし、アストラやL77星そのものを失って精神面の弱さが表に出ていたのかもしれないですしね😅
まあ、1話時点で子供たちに指導する立場だったようなので、ある程度の力量はあったのだと思いますよ😊
試合形式の拳法には慣れていても、ガチの命の取り合いになると、また勝手が違うのかもな？
レオ本編に出てくる宇宙人って、通り魔みたいに殺人繰り返すヤバい奴ばっかりだし、レオも王子だから命のやり取りには慣れてなかったんだろう。
そこを戦士として鍛えたのが、他ならぬウルトラセブンってことなんだろうな。
agradecido con Tsuburaya por esta nueva serie. Me encantó de principio a fin, la estética y la historia detrás del Cosmo Beast Style y el mundo donde se practica. Super contento por ver una vez más a mi Ultraman Favorito: Ultraman Leo en acción y su gran hermandad con Regulos, del cual creía que venía de L77 o de D60 pero resulta que viene de un lugar desconocido, Regulos es la única palabra que recuerda y lo más curioso para mi es ver que Leo sabe algo que no quiso comentar. ¿a quien se iba a referir con eso de "además"? ¿Se refería a Ultraman King o a otro ser desconocido? Que sabes Leo que sabes?
Un episodio 1 ULTRA GENIAL y espero el segundo episodio.

赤色の背景はスネーキーモンキー蛇拳、蛇鶴八拳を意識してますし。
また本編でも酔拳のオマ～ジュもありますし
