This is one of those fights that definitely gets easier as it goes on. The first phase is by far the most hectic, dealing with loads of stuff from every which angle while shooting a mobile target. Also not knowing how those spider bombs work makes this fight so much more claustrophobic than it actually is. But once you figure out they don't actually instantly blow up on contact, it becomes a lot more manageable, though still hectic. Second phase can be a little crowded and awkward, but it's not nearly as unpredictable as the first phase. Smoke bomb can basically nullify the main attack if you have proper timing. And the third phase is big and scary but with an attack that's extremely predictable. Expert mode gives you much less free time to deal with the bouncing ball o'bugs, but it's still not that bad. And snail time only gets you once. If you feel like you're missing a parry or two, feel free to farm off the snail before you finish him off.
