When I was a kid there was way more choices of wheels now it seems like inline hockey and rollerblading has died out and only a few brands dominate the market and we have to buy their stuff
I want to get back into playing but have not bought wheels in almost 15 years. I'm 210 and would be playing on an outdoor smooth, maybe polished? outdoor surface. I want to say 82a sounds familiar? My old Rink Rats don't say it anywhere.
I got a pair of Led wheels that are 90A for cruising around on streets, sidewalks and whatever else there is like wooden bridges so hopefully 90A is okay for my inline rollerblades. Do you think those are okay or should I order softer ones next time let me know.
Cole Younger it's the same thing as skateboard wheels dude if you skate concrete skatepark you use harder wheels if you cruise you use softer wheels my cruise wheels are 80A
im 6’3 and 150, which wheels should I use as replacements for outdoor rollerblades (not hockey blades) All hockey skates are extremely uncomfortable at the ankles/feels clunky/
Do you have any advice for using a stick with tape outside. Like when I'm using a green biscuit just stick handling in concrete. Whenever i stick handle or shoot, after a while the tape wears off on the bottom. How do I avoid this?
Anyone recommend different wheels on the same skate? Someone said to go with 84a for the 1st and 4th wheel and 82a for the 2nd and 3rd for an outdoor setup.
Whoever told you that is giving bad info. That setup will work but ONLY if the 1st/4th wheels are a softer rating than the 2nd/3rd wheels. For example.. 78A for the 1st/4th and 82A for 2nd/3rd. That setup is called the rocker. That gives grip in the front and back and speed in the middle. The way that someone told you to do it would negate all the speed you generated because the middle wheels would grip and control all your thrust. Trust me, do not do it like that.. regardless of the surface. You can do it a couple different ways. The best 2 ways in my opinion are like this.. - - softer wheels on the front 2 Harder wheels on the back 2. For example.. 74A on the front and 78A on the back two. My favorite way is to go 4 different wheel grips. 74A - 76A - 78A - 80A.. in that exact order. I play indoor.. on sport court, so that’s how I do it as far as grip rating goes. You will do the same thing for outdoor.. but you won’t be using 74A and other soft wheels. But you would still put softer wheels in front harder in back or have it gradually go up like the example I gave you. There’s a couple other ways.. but the they are VERY surface specific.. and not all outdoor or indoor rinks are the same. Hope that helped..
They probably don't even play inline hockey. The fact they didn't mention Mission skates using hi-lo shows and they are easily more popular hockey skates
neeko well I would say 74 is a bit low actually, but 76 probably would be good. Like I said, I play on plastic tiles so I don't know too much about concrete. I do know it's harder tho. And yeah, I play roller and ice hockey, and I comment alot lol
pattycakes127 it all depends of preference the harder the wheel the more they will slide out but they will last longer if you want to be able to turn well go with softer whells only downside is that they won't last that long.
@@philipchristian9142 I like millenniums and rink rat tricksters. I go back and forth, but I am friends with the owner or sales person of rink rat so I do get hooked up a bit.
Color and the font are the most important factor in choosing hockey wheels
I always make sure to get period blood red with a graffiti font. I feel it brings out the best of my skills..
Yeehaww!! AMERICUH!!!! 🙂👍
@ I like plan orange wheels on the bauer rsx it really looks nice....
LET'S GO AMERICA BOYS!
Now you should do a video on wheel setups pros and cons
Yes it helped
The revision hi-lo clinger 74a wheels are great indoor wheels but the rink rat envy pro wheels are my go to outdoor wheel
When I was a kid there was way more choices of wheels now it seems like inline hockey and rollerblading has died out and only a few brands dominate the market and we have to buy their stuff
Can you please do a review on those CCM 4roll gloves you have? I contemplated whether i should buy those or the bauer x lites
SAME SFC Bauer x
So I play on a plastic surface, and I weigh 160 lbs (5'8") would you recommend somewhere in the 76-78 range?
Yes
no
74a unless ur like 200lbs
Can you use hockey wheels on a indoor skating rink? (wood)
EastSinatra74 yes but it won’t last that long so I take my hockey a-number and add 2 and it works great
Do you recommend the labeda shooter wheel?

Yea bro that’s sealed concrete ur playing on. It’s probably painted over. I would get 80a Labeda yellow grippers.
Rink Rats. Done.
ROO or labeda
ROO yup
Rink rat
Street rat
I don’t
Buy that
I have play for many outdoors with a set of 76 wheels and have lasted more than 78 firm set wheels. Each brand makes it differently

I use 94A for outdoors and they're great. Labeda makes them. Labeda Xtreme I think they're called.

generation stupid did you find any wheels that suit your needs?
What's the difference between hockey wheels and ones that come with regular inline skates?
Snapple431 Msp more grip like u should get rink rat wheels
Most regular inline skate wheels can be the gel type these are often more like skateboarding wheels. IE Harder
Is 78a soft enough for 130lb lean skater on wood rink ? 72mm ok for short saker beginning?
My rink rat xx grip wheels worked great but they wore down a ton
Do you have any advice for using a stick with tape outside. Like when I'm using a green biscuit just stick handling in concrete. Whenever i stick handle or shoot, after a while the tape wears off on the bottom. How do I avoid this?
+NerfandOtherStuff Get yourself a hockey wrap around. search for them on google.
Shooting pad. Smooth plastic sheet. Can usually get them at a hockey shop
70kg 150lbs shd use what hardness for indoor court tile.
Is this their last video? They usually post every week and it's been 3
+Iman Nsour We've been super busy but we'll have a new video each week! Thanks for checking with us each week.

Do you know of any outdoor hockey rinks in the uk?
I don't.. Sorry.
They probably don't even play inline hockey.
The fact they didn't mention Mission skates using hi-lo shows and they are easily more popular hockey skates
Would 85a be good for indoor use if I weigh around 170 , and I’m 5’11 or will I be slipping a bunch
Nathan Drews no that's too hard for indoor
Ur gonna fall buddy
i play on smooth painted concrete (indoor) and weigh 130lbs and i pivot and hockey stop alot, what should i be using?
labedas/rink rats maybe. 78a probably. I play on sport court and I weigh 120, I use 76a
+Clever Happy Derp mate i see you on every inline hockey video ahaha. wouldn't 74a-76a be better for smooth as glass painted concrete and my weight?
neeko well I would say 74 is a bit low actually, but 76 probably would be good. Like I said, I play on plastic tiles so I don't know too much about concrete. I do know it's harder tho. And yeah, I play roller and ice hockey, and I comment alot lol
I play on concrete that's a little slick, I weigh about 160lbs and use Revel Cerebrus 74A and they are the grippiest I've used on concrete.
is 72A ok for indoor

Labeda addictions
Wait dogs eeklo... I play on that team in belgium!!
My hardness of my wheel is 85 so it does go beyond 84. I’ve even seen someone use 89.
5th
I'm 250 pounds and every set of wheels I buy get chewed up in three weeks. What Wheels should I buy ?????? And yes I need to lose weight lol
