Troubleshooting for earth or ground faults with The Z100 PV Analyzer is a fast and convenient way to increase field staff productivity and reduce transport costs, when carrying out solar PV operations and maintenance work. Often the process of finding ground faults may take many hours. Especially if the ground fault is around 1-3 MΩ. In such cases it can be difficult to find the position of faults with conventional equipment and calculus.
The Z100 PV Analyzer offers a fully automated and advanced test routine that will let the field technician search for, and find ground faults within minutes. Getting started with the Z100 PV Analyzer is made easy. - Наука
Z100 tester can test array, when string panels are with Tigo maximizers?
Do you have tester to measure the RISO value for 1500V systems?

Why would I need it in my array? Non of them have ground. Just + and -
Hi Alex. Thanks for your question. Solar service and maintenance providers choose our product, to quickly identify and find solar array faults. It is a mobile instrument and as such, it is not installed in the system permanently.
If there is a leakage current issue in a floating PV system such as yours, then the PV system is typically grounded during testing. When the whole system is on a common ground, the fault is easily found with the Z100.
Grounding kits are often used in these cases. The vast majority of PV installations are however grounded for safety reasons.

Thanks. We appreciate it.
Would this work with RSDs attached to each panel?
Please get in touch using the contact form on our website. We can advise on this topic. It is not a straight forward answer.
Does it work with solaredge optimiser?
As with all solar panels testers (not only emazys) it is almost impossible to use them with panels that have optimisers build in. So unfortunately the answer is no. You will have to rely on the build in fault finding in solaredge.
