- Lakers last year won the NBA In Season Tournament. Lakers Nation got to celebrate the first ever at that and Lakers took it very serious. Lakers had a easier grouping compared to this year however. Lakers News came out with the Grouping and it looks tough.

If a team makes the in-season tournament final, they add another game to their schedule and it doesn’t count in the standings.

It’s going to be tuff but we did get the easier group though compared to group A and C OKC is the only team I’m not sure we can beat but the others I think we got it we beat them before

It’s disgraceful that the team hung that banner. No other teams cared about it. They were focused on actually winning something meaningful. Kobe would vomit if he saw that garbage hanging in the rafters.

The NBA rewards the champion nothing..How about counting the title game as win on your overall record?
BINGO! That could really be some major incentive, especially given how tight the standings have been. That “extra credit bonus” win could have major implications at the end of the season as a “tie-breaker”.
