As the offlaner, sometimes you have to do "stupid shit" in order to give space to your team to recover and farm up... Sometimes you die when doing this, or often, but if your cores get another item due to that, it is all positive and your kill gold is split between 3-4 heroes, so it is not a lot
yeah the key is making them use smokes or multiple hero rotations. also hopefully making it a chase. if you have 2 of there cores and a smoke wasted and you have them for 30-45 seconds including setup time you have effectively taken them away from scaling for 1:30. Same as in fights as offlane. If i can jump in the face of a big core forcing the supports to save them with spells even if i die effectively i have taken away the supports ability to protect there cores
this actually makes so much sense, i wish i remember to do this when im losing and split push more

Great video man. The hardest part about playing like this is tanking the insults. People < 6k mmr will verbally assault you for playing like this, but you just gotta mute and keep playing and it's all good and you will win more
Problem is, lowing mmr players think you are “griefing” when you are pushing a lane and not fighting unwinable fights with them

tbf you did well in that last team fight, especially the force staff, but it seemed like DP was the one who won it by getting 4 people's attention, draining/fearing and leading to the razor kill
The problem with this is that low level players don't understand the concept of opening up the map, they'll just accuse you of feeding and blame you for the lost. Herald players have only one plan when the game is going badly: wait in the highground forever.

It's called dead lane for a reason. You have to relieve the pressure on the dead lane to open another lane for your team but some teammates are so dumb that you died and open up their lane for them to farm safely, yet they just triangle and don't put a tiny pressure on enemy's dead lane.

Legit have won my last few games using this strat. Won today even when the enemies had Megas.
For those of you that might start to say, but when I do this my team only farms the jungle safe and don't get to the other parts of the map. Then you aren't doing it enough. Yes that will be true sometimes BUT if you consistently do this stuff, EVEN ON SUPPORTS, you will win more games.

damn ive learn alot i have losetreak this helps a lot also the wave cuts I also notice that when im playing not to go base u should push or cut some waves it helps the enemies go to u and soo ur theam knows their gone they can farm and push this helps a lot dota is like chess u should use ur brain.

U forget that for some reason my herald enemies suddenly decide to become 400 iq courier sniping highly spesific item build having. And my team mates decide to spesifically buy only shit items and run straight mid to the hands of enemies.
I always pick an offlaner that can clear creep wave fast to create space for my team. SEA archons on the other hand are fighting over the triangle creep camps both safelane and supports. If I get lucky playing offlane I can carry. Most of the time ill just feed using this strategy and my SEA carry wont even appear on enemy map for 25 - 30 minutes while creep waves are pushing turrets. New SEA players don't even bother defending the turrets if 4 - 5 enemy are trying to push because they haven't farmed their 5 slots yet. 🐵🐵🐵

@@jersonromano8245 me too! High five! First thing I do is mute them. Later before game ends, I always forget I muted them and I'm not stressed. We all just want to play and enjoy, anything against that gets ignored even by muting them. Cheet up man! Ignore and enjoy!

One other reason is Luna , Luna is very very weak late game , I hope they buff her a bit ,
my steam name is Win lane,Lose lane KEKW for a reason ... gameleap gave me an edge in laning phase i destroy it but then even if i told them to play 2 lanes with vision... they will split and get pick 1 by 1 and we lose the lead i builded PepeHands
i know how to play when i lost lane but when we stomp... they will dive t4 and fountain without hitting a single t3/rax :(

So what do you if the enemy team just ignores you and 5man pushes high ground and there is no way to outpush them?
Your teammates should throw all spells to stop the creep wave and delay pushing also you should have tp to defend base too. if your team cannot hold against enemy team that's gg anyways.
Well, as Speed would say, you loooose. But this is serious, like the last comment, if you guys can't stop the highground push, it's kinda bad. Than again, maybe they just take mid racks and you find a turnaround later.

If i would do this in my low mmr games, I would get flamed into oblivion. Since the rest of my team would be taking teamfights and lose, blaming me.
This guy reminds me of Matt Pat or whoever does the "just a theory" channel. Annoying af but has some useful things to say. Perhaps I'm just a POS but people that are so positive, so excited every moment feels unbelievably fake to me and I can only assume it's a front and he hates making Dota videos irl but has turned it in to his 9-5.

1 habit that will make you always feed.. anyway nothing right or bad.. when you do this when there is boots travel or strom spirit or spec.. you are done for like the other np rat lord
Depends on the game situation of course, usually heroes that have global ganking presence also don't exactly have the best laning so if you also screwed up the laning to the point that any split pushing is efficiently punished then something else went very wrong that you need to work on. For example if spec a rather mediocre laner, somehow slaps your offlane hero hard enough to solo kill u in mid game then something went wrong.

im offlaner and i do this .. and my earlier game i died 2x while doing this for cr8ing space for my team and they all blame me ... but we win bcos our carry got items bcos of that fucking space . but still they calling me shit -.-

5 games tonight, no supports in 4 of them, sorry, you need to address that before giving this obvious shit. Not a whole lot you can do when you lose both side lanes, then your team sits mid and feed perpetually.

This is a good habit but it's not THE good habit. I admit I have pulled a win out of a stomp based on shoving side lanes, avoiding fights, and dancing around enemy timings until our carry who shit the bed in lane finally hits their late game timings. My favorite hero, Pango, is great at doing that. The best habit to win games is definitely PMA. If you manage to save face by staying positive, try to keep up team morale, and ALWAYS look for the win condition... Sometimes you're going to find it when it seems all hope is lost.
