This is extraordinarily crisp, to the point. One thing - even with the three steps i wasn't able to login from local. I had to restart MSSQL server services, enable sql server browser and then it worked.

I have a situation. I did run an instance in aws with ubuntu. Installed vesta control panel and created a sql database that can be filled with a webpage, but when i try to fill the form webpage from an arduino or esp8266 It doesnt work. What should I check?

My SQL Server Native Protocol Doesn't Exist
followed and can confirm it works but for some reason (probably due to inactivity) my ec2 instance got automatically deleted, gone forever. Would like to know if there is a way to prevent this in the future, maybe there is a minimum bandwidth that needs to be used for it to be considered an active machine.
How long after was it deleted? It shouldn’t be automatically deleted.

I am currently in the process of learning Sql Server for database administration but I have a mac. Can I just use aws or do I need to use docker/vm to run sql server on mac?
