Hi Ma'am, I know this is so late, but just a quick question, IN Q39 why didn't we add the background radion at the very end after we got 90? To get 110, I always used to do that.. Thank you.
Hi there, sorry for my late reply. The question asked for the count rate due to the source, so we don't need to add the background radiation. But if the question asked for the total count rate or the detector reading, then we should add the background radiation. Hope it's more clear now :)
