All the dishes looked so good! My favorite was the Korean chicken wings; that hotdog, the burger with jalapeños; the buns on both looked so fluffy and tasty; breakfast I would try that French toast and veggie ! omelette but really everything looked so good!! Thanks for sharing 😋😋😋😋
I was recently on a cruise with ncl and I kept eating at O'Sheehan's always ordering the Wrangler Burger, chicken wings, nachos and apple pie. We're booked for next year and im going back there again next year.

How does this lady manage to stay so slim while eating all this delicious food?! You’d have to roll me out of O’Sheehan’s if I spent a cruise eating all this stuff!
I sailed on the Encore last week, and I have to say I was very tempted to eat at The Local. But I found myself so distracted by the buffet that I didn’t have ANY room to enjoy The Local. Maybe I just have low standards, but NCL’s buffet was absolutely wonderful. Pretzel rolls seemed like a common theme on that ship, which I absolutely loved. I was a little disappointed with the MDR, as the menu never changed the whole week. It was the same exact menu every night. Still, it was great trying out a new (to me) cruise line.
Encore sounds like it had a really nice buffet. That's disappointing to hear thought that they've implemented the same menu nightly for dinner- NCL is pushing guests towards specialty restaurants it seems. Thanks for the comment- glad you had a great time on the Encore! 🙂
Just found you and subscribed. I'll be on the Norwegian Spirit in May. I've had gastric bypass surgery and am concerned about the food I'll be able to eat. I have registered as a special diet needs cruiser and will be talking with the chef once I board. Thanks for this review. Looks delicious. we love o'sheehans. Not sure when our next ncl will be. I'd actually be fine if they shrunk the burgers a bit. They're huge, we'll often split one. These burgers with lots of toppings looked good. We also like that Thai-chili wing flavor. Your wife needs to use her hands though. It's ok. They'll get a tad sticky/gooey. I think they used to provide these little wet-wipes for cleaning the hands. Not sure if they still do so.
@@TravelTouristVideos It was a major disappointment. The two meals of chicken wings that we had on the NCL Epic were served cold. On the second meal, we ordered a piece of cake and after 30 minutes, we finally approached the manager who brought it. I see that they are shutting down the Epic for four months. I hope that they take the time to adequately staff the ship and to train the current staff on proper service.

I've been on two NCL ships a few years ago (pre-pandemic) and I completely forgot about O'Sheehan's. I had breakfast there one morning and a lunch sometime on NCL Sky. Apparently the cruise line has upped their game, making that place more than a quick-bite kind of place. I absolutely remember having the Artichoke Dip, capturing it on one of my RUclips videos. The food that I ate there was okay, filling, nutritious. Tasted fine, not exactly worth a Michelin star. Most disappointment? No such thing as a medium-rare burger to be found, unless you were splurging in Cagney's Steakhouse.
I was on the Jade an 11 day cruise earlier this month. This was my favorite restaurant to eat in for dinner. But I have to say all the food on this ship was just average.
Yeah O'Sheehan's was also really good on our cruise aboard the Star. Also agree with your assessment about the rest of the food. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Just completed a NCL Pearl cruise to Canada. O'Sheehan's menu was very good but no Irish beer. Also the loud games from the public area below was very annoying. They need to tone it down.
Wow looks like they have improved the food at that restaurant. I don’t remember their burgers to be anything special. The burgers you tried sure looked delicious and gourmet even. I’ll definitely try the Korean chicken wings which is new on their menu. Thanks for this awesome video!❤
Yes you're right- O'Sheehan's wasn't as good in the past actually. The wings were not that great and the burgers were kind of odd. Good to see NCL improve this 24/7 cafe. Thanks so much for the comment! 😊
O'Sheehan's one of the best things I love on NCL. I always loved it after coming back from a port, Tired needing a bite to eat. Almost a 24hr place, great to get a snack. PS> love watching your food Blogs!
O'Sheehans on Getaway was more like Bowling Alley food this past summer! We went once and that was more than enough. Based upon our experience, I would not recommend it to anyone..................ever.
Yeah they didn't exactly have that many. I think only the Irish American Stew (which was quite good BTW), the Cottage Pie Potato Skins & the fish & chips were.
@@TravelTouristVideos both Getaway and Gem. You have to check in with the host even for a seat in the bar area. There is poor communication between host and waiting staff. During off peak times, the host is running around and there is no "pls wait to be seated" sign. Without check in, waiters ignore you. Even with a check in, I waited on one occasion for over 30 minutes at 3 pm and the waiter came only after the host reminded him. Never came back after serving the food. A very similar experience on both ships one year apart so it seems to be a procedural issue and the fact waiters lack experience (first contract maybe?). None of these issues exist at other bars/ restaurants.
Yeah sounds like they need to staff O'Sheehans better. What you experienced is unacceptable- can't be sitting there for half an hour before someone comes to take your order. Thanks for sharing and hopefully NCL will address.

I liked the 2nd burger that your wife preferred over the Blue Cheese burger as well. However, I would have preferred my burger medium rare and it looked like the ones they served were medium well or well done.

They’ll probably cook it to medium rare or whatever your preferences are if you request it.
The burger looked so big you would need to dislocate your jaw to eat it! WOW!
