Curious you don't use the sheet it comes with to protect your iron??

Is this the same concept as cookie mat sheets? They look the same.

I use the cookie mat sheets all the time and they work exactly the same at half the cost.

This is very confusing to me.....after you have glued the applique pieces, you then place your background onto the mat and then iron on your applique...well, won't the glue then come back out of the mat and onto the background piece too? How often can you use the same mat over and over again....does the glue run out?

Justine Arrasate Lloyd the glue is on the back of the fabric from an iron on fusible interface. After it gets ironed on to the fabric and cooled off again you remove the paper and expose the glue so it can then be ironed onto another piece of fabric. Think of it like double sided tape.
