You should find out the history of Dendiar, Dendiar whose real name is Raden Diar Dhurmakusomo was the chief of war “ laksamana” of the kingdom where Raden Mas father “Romo” was from (Eastern Java) Raden Mas addressed her father as Romo which means father in higher literature of the Javanese language. Dendiar who was a very skilled fighter who served the kingdom had a strong bond with Pangeran Agung (Romo) whom he was close to. Pangeran Agung is a prince with a heart of a humble commoner. When Pangeran Agung fled the kingdom with Raden Mas Ayu after the murder of his wife, Dendiar wanted to come along but Pangeran Agung insisted him to stay. It was 20 years later that Dendiar met Pangeran Agung and Raden Mas Ayu in Karimun Island of Riau coincidentally while he was there for trade reasons. Back then the Riau archipelago was still part of the Johor Sultanate. Since the reunion, Dendiar visited Pangeran Agung and Raden Mas Ayu. He dearly served them until the tragic death of Pangeran Agung and Raden Mas Ayu. He then served Tengku Chik, the son of Pangeran Agung from the marriage between him and the sultan’s daughter (Tengku khalijah). Dendiar continued to serve Pangeran Agung’s lineage dedicatedly throughout his life. He had a mystical unexplainable abilities and lived a spectacular long life. There are reportedly many stories and sightings of Dendiar between Singapore and the straits of Johor.
