Hello, teacher, ask a technical problem related to indesign, why the software has developed the stroke style, but also with the corresponding button to load, why there is no tutorial to teach how to design the style with what tools, and then load it?
In fact, I want to achieve more personalized strokes, or the simplest report four corners to support rounded corners, a very simple function, but it seems difficult to do with indesign...
Adobe Illustrator's design brush function can be customized personalized stroke style, if Illustrator supports a design brush export to INDesign-supported inst format, you can seamlessly connect with indesign.
Scripts can only automate what the program can already do. The capabilities of InDesign to control stroke properties is a matter of how InDesign is programmed. No script will extend or change that. You'll have to make a feature request to Adobe for that. I can at least make a tutorial about how to set and adjust stroke properties in InDesign, and how to create and apply object styles to strokes.
@@wc7 Indeed, that feature has been to Adobe official reaction several times without success, can only find their own way to use, or made from illustrator copy and paste into indesign. A tutorial on how to use it would be appreciated.
I don't know how. I will have to research the topic. Try the Adobe User Forum. Free to join: community.adobe.com/ Post the question there in the InDesign section. Add the tag "Scripting" to your question.
Thank you! It helped me immediately to create and handle text frames.

You are a good teacher of java script I have been following you for a long time. Is it possible that you start studying from scratch?
