I’m with you, I’ve never really had any issues with the Walmart grocery pickup. Not to long ago I went in the store to shop and I came across one of the employee grocery shoppers and I stopped her and told her that they always do a great job and how much I appreciated them. She almost started to cry and said thank you, you made my day. Thank the employee shoppers if you ever come across them. ❣️❣️❣️. Love you, Jen.
I think teaching kids to do laundry, cook and other household chores is really good for them. Contributing to the family home teaches not only skills but independent living skills for when they are older. All according to their age and ability of course. 🙂
Jen, my son is now 17 and I started teaching him to do his own laundry at age 13 and I remember feeling like I was the only Mom who wasn’t doing their children’s laundry and low key felt a little embarrassed. 😂 My son as I said at 17 is now so organized and efficient. His room and closet is spotless and clean. It makes me so proud to know that I’ve raised such a good human that’s going to be somebody’s amazing husband one day.

For breakouts I love the Origins Spot Remover. A little goes a long way, and it clears things up without drying out the surrounding skin. It's a miracle in a little blue bottle!
The veggies looked so good! I have pineapple, watermelon, and honeydew on my grocery pickup order; instead of saving it for with breakfasts, dinners, I’ll prep it today & have it ready! Hopefully my kids will be more inclined to snack on it that way, too. Thanks for the reminder. 🙂
I love Walmart grocery pickup!! The curbside employees in our store are prompt, friendly and efficient and their substitutions are always favorable. They actually won my business over from the local Kroger and I drive the next town over every week to use their service.

Boy bringing back memories. I worked weekend package in Des Moines but always picked up Friday night so Friday thru Sunday night. My kids were 9 and 5 when I stopped. Friday night was a crock pot meal. Then lunches were sandwiches or left overs. Casserole Saturday night and Sunday was a prepped meal. Lots of work to get the fa ilt taken care of. I don't envy you at all! Looks like you got it all under control! Oh I was having a problem with breakouts left cheek. Once I realized I was holding my head up with my hand right there and kept my hands off it the acne went away. Just a thought.
I love Walmart pickup. It has been a life saver. I have had all good experiences and I am so grateful that my Walmart has it. I live in a small town and we have 1 Walmart and 2 Safeway’s. And Safeway just recently started grocery pickup. Which would have been nice during the quarantine time.🤷♀️ oh well, they have it now.

I love Starbucks. The Target Starbucks I frequented when my youngest was born knew me so well that when I didn’t show up they were certain she was being born ( she was btw) when we came in after she was born they gave us free drinks ( they knew my regular!) And when we went in right before moved they gave my whole family free drinks! I love Starbucks and Starbucks employees are usually always pretty great but that was my favorite Starbucks ever!!

I love Dyson vacs. My next one will be the cordless but not until I get my old carpeting replaced with vinyl plank flooring. Jen have you thought of getting your prescriptions filled through a mail order pharmacy? In a lot of times it’s cheaper then your local pharmacy and some meds are free. I use Express Scripts, but there are several out there. I love getting them mailed to me and it’s so nice not to have one more thing on my list. Happy to see the kids are learning to do some laundry. As they learn to do more, they will really be a help to you. I love your new bedroom furniture, too bad you have to wait 6 months, but I guess all these contractors, suppliers, etc. are way behind. I had three boys . LEGO’s were the death of us 🙃Right before everything shut down last year I got a gift w/ purchase makeup bag full of makeup from Ulta that I keep in my travel bag for trips to KC . I love that Coach bag style . I think you’ll be happy with it . Everyone seems to be having more breakouts. My esthetician said it’s the mask . Have a good week !
I learned from a dermatologist years ago that breakout spots on the face that are not truly "acne" and that are treated with acne gels and creams will only get aggravated and breakout more. If you have dry or combo skin it is more effective to treat a zit or a patch of breakout with high end moisturizer, especially at night. I used to put clearasil in a zit and itd get all red and dry and look awful fpr like 2 weeks. Now I just put a little extra Olay Regenerist in that spot at night and its gone in a day or two.
The Polynesian Sauce is my mother's favorite! She doesn't have Chick-fil-a in her area either, but when I was in town visiting a few weeks ago I saw a sign in the grocery store that the sauces were "coming soon" to the condiment aisle - I immediately took a picture and sent it to her so she would keep an eye out for them because it's pretty much the only reason she wants Chick-fil-a when she is in an area that has one.
Girl I had hormonal acne and had to go to the dr. They prescribed a antibiotic gel for me. That and I wash and lotion my face with cerevae. It’s helped me so much!
ShopRite was selling Chick-fil-A sauce for about a week. I’ve never been to one but someone told me to serve it with chicken Nuggets. I was only able to buy the regular sauce not the Polynesian. I want more but they stopped selling it. I cook ground bison all the time. No one can tell the difference in my family. Anything I use beef for bison works just as well with less fat. Serving size looks fairly small (green chef meal). My family would ask for more but they don’t believe in portion control, I do. I do a bit of Meal Prep for my meals too. For example, for tonight I made the tartar sauce and I breaded and cooked the fish. When I get home I’ll heat the fish in my air fryer and make a quick side. I get home at 8:15 tonight. Dinner should be on the table by 8:30. Might be late for some ppl, around here that’s pretty good.
Nice to see you again Jen! Wal-Mart was out of blackberries today and wanted to substitute frozen berries for them. I declined because I had them already. I had a problem once, but no issues otherwise with pickup.
Walmart for sure has superior substitutions to any of my other local grocery stores. I try not to complain either...they do a chore for me that saves me so much time allowing me to get other things done!
Walmart pickup is awesome for me. Best overall pickup experience. I only wish they had an option on the app to tip bc I don't always have cash on hand.

When thinking about my skin routine, I always include what I've been eating. Skin problems can happen from hormonal issues as well, as you mentioned, but they can also be a sign from your body letting you know that maybe something you might be consuming doesn't agree with it?
I am never a carryon girl! I need to check a bag because I am not a minimalist.. I know this about myself. Plus, when I travel for work and I am alone, I like to explore. So, I always check a pocket knife in my baggage ..cuz you never know...
I love Walmart!! They've always been great. Their subs make sense. Hyvee has been hit or miss, and when they miss it's HUGE. Like when I wanted laughing cow dipper snacks, and they gave me Nutella dipper snacks. Like. What. The eff. I had one problem with Walmart once and it was they were delayed past my pickup, and never told me when it was ready. They called way late, but I was able to pick up the next day. So it worked out. But that was it. Oh, and the cookbook comes tonight! Hot dog tonight! 🤣

Soaking the cut apples in lemon water works well. I do that for my kids lunches.

In general I really enjoy Walmart grocery pickup. Occasionally I get weird substitutions, but it’s better than going in!!

I am never a carryon girl! I need to check a bag because I am not a minimalist.. I know this about myself. Plus, when I travel for work and I am alone, I like to explore. So, I always check a pocket knife in my baggage ..cuz you never know...

I agree about Walmart .. their customer service is great and the substitutions are always a upgrade. I’ve never understood the hate Walmart gets.
Toss the cut up apples with some orange juice. That works really well to keep them from browning.
I love Walmart!! They've always been great. Their subs make sense. Hyvee has been hit or miss, and when they miss it's HUGE. Like when I wanted laughing cow dipper snacks, and they gave me Nutella dipper snacks. Like. What. The eff. I had one problem with Walmart once and it was they were delayed past my pickup, and never told me when it was ready. They called way late, but I was able to pick up the next day. So it worked out. But that was it.
Oh, and the cookbook comes tonight! Hot dog tonight! 🤣
