‘True Colors’ opens up the EP with a trippy textured atmosphere and fluttering synth, dropping into a bouncy groove with crispy drums and crazy ear candy. ‘Reverse Hourglass’ brings down the energy for a beautiful downtempo beat with lush synths and minimal drums, slowly building into an insane glitchy journey developing over the drum beat constantly incorporating new elements. ‘Reward’ opens with an luminous distant melody and quickly transforms it into a surreal drop of surreal sound design following the same rhythm, with a second drop melting into drippy glitchy bass for the peak energy of the EP. ‘Zest’ brings down the energy into a perfect downtempo groove that can be listened to on repeat, incorporating the sounds from the rest of the EP in a more laid back way. ‘Nebula’ closes the EP with an epic build of plucked synths and a dreamy atmosphere, dropping into another beautiful downtempo groove that is hard not to move to.
