What concerns me is Aiyuk's lack of effort. He got the bag and now he's not blocking, showing any aggressiveness or urgency on the field, hasn't been fighting for YAC, he hasn't been showing any heart. Geno has been lights out since his first drive in the Pre-Season! Grubb seems to be the perfect coordinator for him. 5 Drops killed the momentum several times. Seahawks add another 6-14 points in regulation if those drops are caught. In addition, the Patriot’s offense probably gets 1-2 less drives. Don’t forget the Lockett PI in the back corner of the end zone that setup the first the Hawks on the 1.

One thing you have to watch is when Minnesota gets Addison and TJ Hockenson back. That offense can be very, very good. They put the game away with TE2 and 3, WR3,4 and 5 as Jefferson missed the last 20 minutes.

For me the Hawks are just missing the O-line. Give Geno the time to make plays and he will get it done! Give K9 and Charb the holes to run and they will deliver. I think part of the Metcalf contract restructure was to go out and improve the O-line. Time will tell!

Brian Flores now has some better pieces and the Vikings might easily wind up a top ten defense. Van Ginkel, Cashman, and Greenard were great signings. We all love Danielle Hunter in Minnesota but he didn’t really fit Flores’s system. (And I forgot to mention Pat Jones who has four sacks in two games.)

Richard I have a question about the way the 49ers are playing their defensive ends. It seems like the ends have little to no concern for outside contain, and the league knows it. If Warner wasn't one of the greatest linebackers of all time they would be getting killed every week. Is it a scheme issue or do their ends just duck inside for a sack and no one calls them on it because they ring up some sacks? To me Bosa had a bad game, too many plays he was caught inside while the play bounced out, and though he got 2 sacks he also was completely out of the play far too often. He gets paid an awful lot of money to be a 1 trick pony in my book, Hutchinson and Watt are wildly more impactful and play the run 10 times better..
i agree about your statement saying fred warner was mvp that game, he literally put the team on his back that game. I have always said he is one of the best but hes becoming my favorite on the team with how consistent hes been last year/this year.

Sherm hits it on the head, the Niners, with our 80 million DL needs to generate far more pressure. Nick absolutely didn't have a fantastic game, both sacks were coverage sacks. And as much as Nick is very good, he hasn't wrecked a game since since 22. I don't know what it is, but guys just sit back there against us whereas Brock is always running for his life. My biggest fear is always gonna be this OL, but the DL needs to be the weapon it was in 19, 21-22.
Ryan Grub is such a huge upgrade over Waldron. He actually knows how to utilize all the weapons and has a clear gameplan coming into every game
Grubb also knows how to makes adjustments throughout the game unlike Waldron.

Going for it on 4th when they could have kicked a fg. The d held up next possession and they had a short field and got close enough for what could have been a game winning fg.

If the Vikings make it to the post season, which at this point in time looks very possible, and they make it to the NFC Championship and even maybe the SB, then this week wouldn't be seen as much as an upset as the way it is seen now.
Thought the Vikings were the better team and made plays at crucial moments. Sans Fred Warner it would have been at least a 2 td win for the Vikings

49ers offense was broken without CMC. We kept putting all the weight on the defense. I hate that we run the ball every 1st down. We’ll get better it’s only one game. Just need some time for these guys to get sync with each other since Brandon held out so damn long. His as should be working out even harder to get back into shape.

9ers receivers again aren't getting separation. Defense front 4 aren't putting any pressure, either...again. Pass protection, again... Not good.

I don't think the Chiefs should have won. That "pass interference" call at the end was ridiculous. He was making a play for the ball, and I don't think he "got there early." I was so annoyed by that play call

Sherm hits it on the head, the Niners, with our 80 million DL needs to generate far more pressure. Nick absolutely didn't have a fantastic game, both sacks were coverage sacks. And as much as Nick is very good, he hasn't wrecked a game since since 22. I don't know what it is, but guys just sit back there against us whereas Brock is always running for his life. My biggest fear is always gonna be this OL, but the DL needs to be the weapon it was in 19, 21-22.
