Conflicted between the cold-hearted logic and deeply immoral effects of his actions, Mordin left the salarians behind to found a medical clinic for the downtrodden of Omega. Joining with Shepard after curing a deadly alien plague, Mordin would reveal a cultured singer and empathetic doctor beneath his cold scientist exterior who sought to redeem himself for strengthening the genophage. I truly enjoy the soundtracks of Mass Effect 2. It had that space feel to them. It made you feel as if you were really far far away from home, on an alien planet. The immersion that each soundtrack had brought each area you visited to life.
@@brainconqueror8095 You realize they tried, right? Not that it mattered; the whole literal point of Mordin's work is fucking the Krogan over when they're finally starting to overcome it. What can the Krogan POSSIBLY do to save themselves when the rest of the galaxy is perfectly OK with re-sterilizing them back to and within controllable rates? There was no way for the Krogan to get the cure and STAY cured unless the rest of the galaxy was OK with it.
@@optimaltt6070 because curing the genophage on their own requires the Krogan to make broad cultural and societal changes. Most “scientists” spend their talents researching weapons instead of say medicines, crops, devices not intended for warfare and such. Anyone who even dabbles in biology and genetics is branded a madman and is ostracized. That attitude needs to change and it must come from within, not be forced upon the Krogan externally. Then scientists from everywhere need to form a task force to research the problem. That means uniting the Krogan and dismantling old clan rivalries. It will be difficult to end inter-clan conflict with a cured genophage because all it takes is one dissenting female to spawn an entire battalion per year. With clan rivalries gone, warfare as a way of life is de-emphasized. Then the task force will need research infrastructure s people will need to start building. So what we’d get is a Krogan race that is politically unified, not belligerent and focusing on building instead of fighting. It will not appear so threatening to the rest of the galaxy. Then the Krogan can realize in their scientific study that their original birth rate is ecologically unsustainable. They can cure the genophage in a manner where the growth rate is still dampened but the trauma of hatched eggs with dead fetuses isn’t inflicted any more.
bro this is so much better than the 1 minute treatment the official OST gives this beautiful peace of music. do you think there is somewhere you could upload this?
yea I destroyed the research, but if you go normal paragon option over normal renegade it doesn't bring up the real paragon/renegade options lol idk how to explain it
How to level up o element of zero and what the next mission to mordine are come to the normandy wht the nxt mission plz send me next mission video link plz.....
Mordin was favorite in ME2. Loved his fast-paced speech pattern. Just cured Genophage in ME3. *deep inhale* sad to see him go.
You can save him in ME3
@@JD_the_foxSure, if you wanna fuck over the Krogan by sabotaging the genophage cure 🤷♂️
Shocking suggestion.
I almost killed him in ME3 but I couldn't pull the trigger.

I love the "Blade Runner" feel this has.
For some odd reason thought this would be a long version of scientist Salarian
+Middlefingerstudios1 that would be so cool
5:10 One of my favorite combat tracks music. Its just good.
5:15 every single time there was a fucking battle...
"Samara waits one day...then kills another."
-Mordin's comment on Samara's recruitment conditions.
5:15 went so hard while fighting through the plague zone on Omega
Love the crescendo starting from 8:11

What a melodic masterpiece. Never gets old nor boring.
Hey kids, it's time for "Ask Dr. Mordin"!
5:15 They re-used this for the ME3 N7 mission on Benning
Had to be me. Others would have gotten it wrong.
RIP, Mordin. :(

I searched hours to find this
yes... Yes!... YEEEEEEEEESS!!!!!!!!!
Most badass Character theme out of them all in my opinion! Especially when it kicks in at 05:15
one of the deepest one too...
He was involved in the most evil warcrime imaginable: The Genophage
COVID-19 Theme
The Unknown bruh💀
garrison bush 😂😂😂
Just needs that background sound of coughing.
12:53 just hits different
10:50 gets serious
The one person who disliked this hates Krogans and Mordin's cure for the genophage
Krogan should band together and cure the genophage themselves. Giving them a cure is dangerous.

It is cool and sad at the same time.
Also background music for Planet Neith: N7 - Wreck Merchant Freighter
Doesn't this song play when you first board the "disabled" Collector Cruiser? Fits well.
Actually, no. There's a whole different them for that.
