Thanks for uploading. Didn't know this interview exist until now. Joe vs Volcano is absolutely on the short list of my all time favourite movies of all time. Visually stunning with nice music and songs. It's silly and odd, but so many memorable (and quotable) moments. Every time I re-watch it I would find something new and interesting. Also, this is when Meg Ryan was at her most beautiful, natural looking, self.
I might have forgiven her for her infidelity with Russell Crowe. It made me dislike Crowe for wrecking that marriage, though. He could have just stopped himself from getting involved with her.
@Jose Ybarra it’s so crazy to see this because she’s nothing like this in her movies there’s a 1989 interview with her (brain linehans city lights) where it seems worst! It’s like I don’t get it.. if she’s on something she’s on it during filming too but it doesn’t show on film...or maybe she’s just very awkward in interviews????
She was really a vivace & luminous gal, but Hollywood, Fans & Biased media ruined her..Now for me Meg Ryan is dead..nothing compares to Meg at late 80s.

She's not on anything. She's nervous. That's all. And she's an introvert. Being interviewed is not her "natural environment".
Seemed nervous to me. I think it's a mistake to attribute nervousness to something else. Plus, that's slander.
She does seem to be on something. Probably benzos and beta blockers, for the nerves.
