I'm American, and I've never really seen Rugby before, I mean I kind of knew what it was, but never watched it. These highlights are making me want to pay more attention to Rugby. I have never been a big American Football guy, but I love Basketball and Hockey... I think I'm starting to like Rugby too =)

Respect to the opposing team each time a player was hanging in the air upside down by his shorts the tacklers always wait until he's in a safe position before making the tackle.
@@fireinthehale9695 true but I’m pretty certain the first Beast one was the first time it had ever happened - no-one was thinking what the ruling would be, they just instinctively waited till he was down safely (the first guy actually helped him down, I think, before going for the ball).
Tell you what...bouncing players from a standing start is hard enough. And international players even harder. Forwards are even harder. See 5.05 Irish front rower. Well done sir. Flank lock and 8th cleared.
Hey GG I think it was your channel that had a video a few years back that was top 12 super rugby tries. It has since been removed, but i loved that vid. Has the cheslin kick that the man picked up and threw on the ground. Wondering if u had that vid i would love if you could send it
As an American more familiar with the NFL, it's odd to see players not spearing themselves headfirst at full speed into the ball-carriers. With the high injury rate and long term brain trauma commonly seen in the NFL, watching Rugby players with no helmets lends credence to the theory that all the armor and especially the helmets end up causing more injury due to recklessness.
In rugby you aren’t allowed to make any tackles above the shoulders to preserve your head. Theres a big technical side to running into players and tackling and having it be as safe as possible for both players. Some of the players, especially the smaller ones do sometimes wear a second skin which provides a bit of protection to your torso and shoulders.
Yes and no, there is still a high injury rate in rugby and seeing players get smacked in the head by a shoulder or especially a knee in a tackle isn't uncommon. There was an ugly one in the match today between South Africa and Australia where a player got his chest compressed getting caught between two other players running at full speed.
If you’re in the military and you need to borrow some tanks I suggest these guys North Savea nadolo it even more amazing that Nadolo kicks goals from time to time All these guys are 6f.4 in George North case bending down to pick up someone and still run with ball still in hand is impressive
it's Huget's fault he went tackling putting his head on the wrong side which caught entirely the hit bad tackle technique you see more examples of that in the video
The trouble with NZ having so much talent in rugby is some amazing players miss out on the ultimate. Pulling on the Black jersey. I hope he does well overseas.
Either these guys who got trucked dont know how, or just in the moment couldn’t, tackle properly. Or are you not allowed to tackle waistline or below? I did notice ankle picks/grabs from behind though…
Tell me what you think about it hope you all enjoyed
feel free to request more videos and tag your mates sharing is carrying
No tuilagis ?
No Duhan Van Der Merwe?

Ref: “You must stay square.”
Prop: “Thanks Ref, next time could you blow *before* he severs my spinal cord?”
Miss Lomu vs Mike Catt
I know Beast is strong but can we appreciate those rugby shorts for having the ability to to carry all that weight and not rip apart.
Adam Ashley Cooper making 2 high tackles in less than a second is pretty impressive
at that time it was okey 😂😂😂
The ref:HEADHIGH!!!
He's very good at head high tackles
Yeah but it doesn’t say anything about strength just says he’s a poes Ik the rules where different but dude 💀

Yeah but technically it's the rule. You can't tackle the whoever holding the ball while he's on air. That's why they waited until he's on the ground.

That George North carry always makes me wince as it ends up with George injuring himself
❤️❤️
That was a classic rugby league tackle from Folau, ball and All
Same here, but it's always nice to see Folau being taught a lesson or two ;-)
All it takes is one highlight video and I'm hooked, what a sport.
THUMBS UP FOR SMARTEST RUGBY PLAYERS
That fidji try vs Tonga is just beautiful. Power and skill with flair
The Beast...... 💪
Saved the player from serious injury so that's the best for me.
Tell you what...bouncing players from a standing start is hard enough. And international players even harder. Forwards are even harder. See 5.05 Irish front rower. Well done sir. Flank lock and 8th cleared.
1:48 That was pure man handle.
Fair play at 0:58 as players from both team see a dangerous position and help/not make worse
How's the 2nd last clip make it in? It's a double high tackle by Adam Ashley-Cooper, hardly anything to do with strength
Luv frm INDIA. Have a req to have a video on supplymentaion for rugby players and routine in match day💓🙌🏻
I remember how much that tahd furlong run scares me at them time when I was supporting the abs
Next time indicate the weight of players lifted by the BEAST during the kickoff just to express the magnitude of his strength

7:02 they're slowing down instead of speeding up
Ashley cooper tackles two men above the shoulder *splendid work*
When Reece smashed kwagga Smith 😍
my favourite one 😂
Kwagga is a unit too which makes it even more impressive!
Montoya hits 3 guys and convert the try, magnificent!!!!
Should have included that moment in the 2019 RWC quarterfinal when Cheslin Kolbe picked up and threw a Japanese player over his shoulder.
What about Kaino lifting the guy up and carrying him back into the field of play from behind the try line.

8:25 back then it was tackling, now it's a yellow card for taking two players very very high

2:52 this was just textbook flawlessness. Not the carry, but as soon as feet touch the ground,
AA cooper at 8:21 both players get taken out at the neck ho was that not a red? XD
4:54 NZ boys ain't got nothing on a big fella from Wexford!!
When a player has the ball, makes a full blown tackle, and still keeps possession. 😱😱😱
American football: we stiff-arm would-be tacklers.
Rugby: Oi, we just pick’em up and keep going
If only if the legendary Jonah lomu was still alive🔥
The guy who takes one of the other teammates to beat the other ones is a f… beast.
Rene Ranger folded that Frenchman. That was huge
it's Huget's fault
he went tackling putting his head on the wrong side which caught entirely the hit
bad tackle technique
you see more examples of that in the video
1:37 Let go of me! No? Alright...you're coming with me!
what's the name of the opening song ?
respect to the sweaters they are wearing😂
No Danny Barrett running over every New Zealander?
Jonah Lomu is cheating for this category
Aaron Smith one is still funny. Hahahaha
Toso Aaron Smith Toso
Son: Dad we can watch the NFL
Dad: I never seen a real man playing wiith protections...
The Great Lomu, gone too soon
Always remembered as a man who gave 100% . RIP Lomu. We all miss you still ✌🇿🇦
watching this right before my ruggerfest
What is it with South African locks almost falling to their deaths?
Laumape is a human wrecking ball ... go make your money my man
The trouble with NZ having so much talent in rugby is some amazing players miss out on the ultimate. Pulling on the Black jersey. I hope he does well overseas.
Laumape would have 50 caps at 12 for literally every single other international team in the world, it's crazy he's surplus to the All Blacks.
Can you do a 10 times Marcus Smith went god mode please?
Yeap
Song???
BEAST!!!
Tackled, lifted, transported and dropped by someone who had the ball
I would not be going that high into contact against some of these men, they are like bulls
This is like american football.....just WAY better
Just think if Derek Henry played rugby
I will never understand why people dont like this sport in mainland Europe, i can be used to this sport.
Haha the first guy looks like when you play with primary schoolers! XD
Either these guys who got trucked dont know how, or just in the moment couldn’t, tackle properly. Or are you not allowed to tackle waistline or below? I did notice ankle picks/grabs from behind though…
anyone get that license plate on that truck @6:11?????
I mean… no one is below 100 kg so when they manage to pull someone down at full speed with just one arm, it’s insane…
Agree
KWAGGA SMITH
That guy is literally mrbeast (get it)
sick
This looks fking dangerous ngl
And then there is American football.....
Tuisova???????
Poor Megatron
Stop trying to kiss the guy and tackle around the ankles.
just imagine what these beasts can to to a normal joe like you and me hahahaah
There are no Kenya players 🤕then you did not research well Kenya are the most strongest rugby players on earth
Not a sport for Neymar Jr.
Yoow
F=MA!
Ahh are half of these NZ shitting on France ? 😂
That last clip wasn’t strength or anything impressive Ik rules where different but that was just 2 high tackles there was nothing special about it
This is where Folaus homophobia started.... got tired of being picked up by men 🤣
7 people don't like that they're weak....
