Finished "The Black Monastery" last month. Next up in our celebration of 50 years of D&D will be the Goodman Games reboot and expansion of "The Dark Tower," using Swords & Wizardry for that OD&D vibe.
I totally get enjoying Core, but I understand why it's not as much of a priority now. Since Complete is so modular, though, you can almost get to the same place by just ignoring the "extra" classes.
I am trying to get people into DCC but it is rough. Many people who have never been a dm have such a hard time seeing the issues with 5e and love their millions of options to choose from (that they are often too lazy read, actually).
I didn't hear about Swords and Wizardry until a few years ago. Appreciate the interview.
Always a pleasure to hear from Mr Finch
Really enjoying the new revision. And the Tome is amazing for us solo players.
Fantastic interview!

This sounds awesome!
Love how Matt explained exactly why the TV show "Rings of Power" was a disaster. You don't radically change a classic.
Great interview and I am looking forward to the new White Box!
I hope they do a boxed set!

Yeah, it was really nice to see how they look at each book and determine where their priority is. I like that we are getting more!
I’d like to see expansion for White Box, it desperately needs it.
