I will visit Iran in September and october. I´m really looking forward to it. I think it´s a great Country for nature lovers and historically interested people. Nevertheless, the greteast asset of Iran is it´s hospitality and its warm people. Love from Germany to Iran ;)
I heard from many travelers that Iranians are very friendly and Iran is a safe country for foreigners. I plan to go there before it destroyed by the Americans like other Arabian countries.
i have been watching documentaries on Iran for a while now, and i have made up my mind, i will be going, within the next year, the amount of respect and modesty Iran has is a example to the rest of the world, i hear nothing but good things. i just need a guide maybe to visit the best historical sights of this amazing country.
I don't care what the media says about Iran I want to go there, by me missing out on the people and it's culture, and historic sights is not living, and I refuse to go to typical travel sights like Europe and south america, as an American I rather go there where modesty and respect still exist
+Daniels Mardones Caution my friend, Iran is a hostile country under the rule of one of the most brutal, repressive and inhuman dictatorships in the world. My mother is Iranian, I have Iranian relatives and friends who live in exile and even they don't have a desire for visiting Iran. If in the future the situation improves and Iran becomes a more friendly, civilized and rational society, maybe then it would be a good idea to go there for a visit, but certainly not now.
Iran is beautiful and so much to see .Videos like this are showing Iran the way it should be shown. The media wants you to have a bad image of Iran. I would love to visit.
Regarding the turning exercise in zoorkhane, it has nothing to do with the dervishes" dance rather it's a sword fighting technique when surrounded by enemy in the battle. The other exercises are also for building the body for archery, handling of mace or mallet; using of shield when fallen on the ground; doing hand to hand battle techniques etc... The whole school was developed to train fighters under the cover of sport during country's occupation.
thanks for the note. my lazy eye read it as "remnant" which caused the misunderstanding!.... my bad! :) Although the dervishes' turn is slow and relaxing with a quite different body posture :)
Why is the speaker keeps calling Iranians as Arabs? Iranians are not Arabs, their language, Persian, is Indo-European, and ethnically they are considered as Aryans. Iran means "the Land of Aryans." All this shows the ignorance of "Expoza Travel," whose task of introducing Iran has largely been betrayed.
She missed the importance of The shaking minarets. When you climb one and shake it, it start to shake the entire structure which in turn start to shake the other minaret. In physics this is called resonance and engineers make sure the structures are not built on the main several harmonics of the structure vibrations when they building bridges, etc. the guy who built this structure was a mathematician and was well aware of the resonance so he design the building to take advantage of it. He is resting (buried) on the grounds of this amazing place.

The speaker seems very much biased against Islam. She refers Muslims as Islamists. And on 22:57 the speaker actually produces her own version of Muslim calls for prayer saying" Allahi il Allah" noun: an advocate or supporter of Islamic militancy or fundamentalism. ie"radical Islamists" adjective: relating to, advocating, or supporting Islamic militancy or fundamentalism. ie "hardline Islamist groups"
+L Drake hahahah,i like the funny side of your comment! call it however you preffered L Drake but Please visit it and see the kind and modesty people out there.i know which is not that modern and exclusive ,but we love all people around the world to share our love and joy and celebrate life :),hope you could visit us!
I spent three weeks visiting your beautiful country -- just returned two weeks ago. It was a fascinating experience. I learned a lot. Everyone I met was courteous and friendly. I can't count how many times I had women approach me in the streets with their hand over their heart and say "Iran, khosh amadid!" It's evident that a lot was accomplished in the past decades. No beggars, no homeless people, no visible poverty. The roads' infrastructure was of very good quality, the cities, modern and clean. I liked all places I visited, especially Isfahan. About modesty -- I think it's highly overrated, -- I know it's not good for guys to think too much about it, -- as we say, "get a life," -- but, a survived the hijab, despite 100Fº in Yazd -- not a fair way of treating human beings, though, especially for a bunch of hair. Weren't we humans made with hair on our heads? Why hide it? What if I get a buzz cut, do I still need a hijab? And what if a man lets his hair grow, does he need a hijab, too? That is ir-rational, (like in "Iran.")
***** I m so happy which you had the experience to visit there! it s my pleasure which you had enjoyed Mrs and sorry if you had any inconveniences there since we are still developing country! but i hope we all gather together,no matter west or east,we are all human beings with different ideas, colors ,religious and even different god! thats how made the world beautiful.thank you again Drake to visit :)
Dear Dara, don't waste your breath convincing this imbecile. She is clearly full of hate and anti-Iran. She is a liar and all her comments are negative and intentionally hostile. Don't waste your time or energy trying to help educate people who are not willing educate themselves! She is better off sitting at home, watching Fox News, which is her source of "facts" and then trolling the internet. There are lots of good and tolerant people from all corners of the world who we love and would welcome to visit our historic and precious land. Iran is better off without people like Ithila visiting it.
I can't understand why you don't hate the oppressing Kings, you say their names with respect and make us fear the Muslim leaders when they are the ones cherished by the whole nation.
Exactly...this is a video narrated by an Islamophobe. Why they don't describe about the Crusader invasion and the bleaching of indigenous people when they narrate countries in the New World?
and Iran is not an Arab country ! it's a 50% Persian country and the rest are Turks , kurds , lots ,baluchs and Arabs (who only make 5% of the population )
Does anybody know in what year this documentary was made? It is very poorly produced! It has a good message behind it, but the lack of attention to regional and local details is astoundingly obvious and embarrassingly disrespectful. The music, as someone mentioned earlier, is all in Arabic scales; not Persian. There is no excuse for that in this day and age where one can easily find Persian music on RUclips and use something appropriate as the sound track! The narrator's pronunciation of the the names is absolutely horrible as well, starting with the pronunciation of the name IRAN. As someone said earlier, it is "Iee Run"; NOT "Eye Ran". Now that the western world has shifted its hostile policies towards Iran (while slowly turning their backs on their long time ally Saudi Arabia) in search of new opportunities to loot and take advantage of this peaceful and hospitable land, there will be many more documentaries promoting the country as a tourist and investment destination of the 21st century and some, like this one, are borderline disrespectful! Long Live Iran!!!
I laugh hard when they don't know how to say Iran. they call it I-Ran. Where to ? I also not sure :-)) It is and was Iran guys. But Greeks use to call it Persia. Iran means my land in ancient Persian language.
May peace & prosperity, water & wealth, health & harmony, come to Iran.
Classic old natural World with old History

I-ran is such an irritating pronunciation. Why is it so hard for most Americans to say Iran, like in irrational?
