My favourite is the fitglow loose setting power! It’s really blurring and does a good job at mattifying. I have been thinking of getting the tower 28 so I can have a pressed setting powder option too.
Chanel loose is the best powder for people that aren’t oily. Make Beauty pressed powder and Westman Atelier for under eyes. Uoma Beauty loose is a good one too. Great video, Manon. I know exactly what you mean with touching the RMS powder.
My container of the Ilia setting powder does have a locking, twist top over the sifter, so they must have updated it since you purchased yours. I love it, but have been on the hunt for a pressed powder for travel. I tried the Tower 28 in Sephora the other day and loved the way it felt. I will likely purchase it when I get tired of battling the Kosas!
I practically forgot about the kosas powder, but I had the same problem with it breaking. I did like how light it was, it definitely set without being heavy, cakey, or drying. But it didn’t wear nearly as well as my favorites-the Ami Colĕ powder and the Range Beauty smooth out powder, which also set without looking or feeling heavy or dry but stay smoother and satin matte longer.
I have oily skin - though it's more combo nowadays, age maybe - but I've always really despised looking matte. I hate powders that take away the all the shine or too much shine and the finish of my base. I'm always on the hunt for the most undetectable powder that truly sets. CT AFF used to be my ride-or-die but Kosas Cloud Set was lighter and has yellow-toned ones. e.l.f. Sheer Tint Finishing Powder feels and looks exactly like Kosas - though way less shades - but looks like it's dc-ed. I recently got the new rms Hydra Setting Powder and it's great. Laura Mercier Ultra Blur, both pressed and loose, and they're also pretty awesome. But I think right now, my top favourites are Hourglass Veil (that I used to dislike when my skin was oilier) and Sweed Miracle Powder. I've got Tower28 and Rodial Glass Powder ordered. We'll see how they stack up. What do you like about Hourglass Veil? How do they compare to your top favourites?
I'm waiting on the new Kosas pink version (my old one is broken AF lol) that's actually pink! I've been curious about the LYS loose pink powder too but I have to finish some first.
Love you vid. Thank you! Can I ask which would toy recommend for all over and under eyes if we only want 1 powder? Or should I get a pink for under eyes and a loose powder for all over? 🙏 ❤
That’s hard to say! I would always say Ami Cole setting powder will be a go to for all over the face and under eyes! I also really am enjoying the tower 28 one. If you feel like you under eyes looks really stark when your makeup is done it is def worth trying out a pink setting powder for under the eyes
@@TheCleanBeautyCode first I want to say thank you for always replying to us. My skin is a bit dry. I will def. Give the Ami Cole a try! My under eyes are dark which combo would you recommend. Like concealer and powder?
Ohh I would go with the Ami Cole setting powder for sure (or fenty) and the kulfi concealer! My under eyes are a bit dry and on the darker side and that combo always works really well for me 💚
Do you like the Ami Cole over the LYS setting powder ? I’m trying to see which one to purchase lol Also do prefer the LYS foundation stick over the Ami Cole ?
Ami Cole powder over the LYS one! For the foundation sticks I like them both equally. I feel like the Ami Cole one is slightly thinner and has more of a cooling gel like feel when you apply it. But both are great! I think the LYS foundation stick gets dewy before the Ami Cole one
Hi. Ami Cole translucent powder fan too! Kosas: know what you mean about the powder breaking. Mine is broken 😅. Curious about peach color (lately I haven't been wearing much blush, more bronzy looks) Always wanted to get Range, my skin has gotten drier so the formula is needed. Hopefully it will be restocked.
I know! I hope they restock soon 💚 it seems like it might be a supply chain issue so they are working on getting everything back in stock. I hope it’s before the end of the year!
Hmmm I feel like it depends on if you want a skin tone powder or something brightening. The tower 28 is more brightening but the Charlotte is more skin tone colored!
What is your favorite setting powder?

I’ll have to check out the fitglow loose setting powder!
I just use baby powder 😭😭
@@iitsbxbbles girllll get yourself some setting powder 😂
@@natashatomilin Nah i used to have setting powder but i found out baby powder is cheaper and works great
I was LOL at B.A.C. (Before Ami Cole) 😂 I need to check that one out!
Yess it’s so good! If you try it you have to let me know what you think! 💚

I’m so glad I’m not alone with the RMS powder! 💚
Wow. You literally read my mind.
The video I needed!! Thank you
Thank you! I really enjoy your vids. That powder looks amazing on you!

Chanel loose powder is good and also hourglass
Lovee the hourglass powder!

@@TheCleanBeautyCode is the tower 28 smooth under the eyes? Are they similar in smoothness?
Both are smoothing under the eyes! I would go to Sephora and try touching the powders in person to see which you prefer.
