20:42 easy way to do that while actually playing the game. Just hit the printscreen to catch the screenshot of the game and embed it. After stopping the machine you will be ask if you want to save the screens as well. It will be added to the game after that.

Thank you for putting this video up and not cut editing it so we can see a full idea of what to expect. I have never, myself, owned an Amiga but very interested in Commodore computers themselves and 8/16/32 bit gaming. Glad to see that my money can be spent on worthwhile things. Thanks again for your hard work and not begging for money like other RUclipsrs.

@@JustJamie1983 I grew up with the commodore 64. So a lot of my fun and love for the commodore 64 stems from that. Still learning the programming aspect but great to play old games. I have vice for my emulator and then a couple other emulators so I have all the 8-bit machines in emulator form Just looking into the Amiga line and that's why I watched the video here and very impressed on what I see. Might be my next purchase. And by the way, I want to watch all your videos anyways as a commodore lover. I'm enjoying it. Thank you again for putting all these up

Don't look at what they are doing on the A500 mini are people have hacked to run other non-Amiga systems.. They should be ashamed... Obviously they never owned am Amiga. I mean, there should be a limit for the love of a machine,, When do you cross that line ??

Good mouse emulation on this PC PACKAGE. Better than Amiga Mini.
Recommended alternative games: Ratsoft's Defender is absolutely brilliant; Ooze is a modern platform game, also on C64, Speccy; Bombjack beer edition, a recent remake and the classic, Tetris Pro.

I got the "Premium edition" mainly because of the included DVD's Although the videos are on RUclips anyway, its well worth it for those who grew up with Amiga days like me.

The price for buying an Amiga 1200 doesn't include buying a compatible monitor since you can't hook it up to a modern display.

I have had a few email chats with the Amiga Forever developer in recent times because I'd be happy to buy upgrade versions if there was something on the disks for Linux users - he seems like a good bloke if nothing else and does put in a lot of hard work into it.
I had Windows PCs running until support for Windows 7 ended but I'd also been running Linux machines as well and when I saw what a complete joke Windows 8 was, I stopped at that point.
I think I last bought Amiga Forever at version 8 but there doesn't seem to be anything new on it if you don't use Windows.
But I appreciate your videos, some very good stuff in there and thank for your hard work too!
Hey there, yeah for sure, Amiga Forever is a great package. I never used version 8 so I cannot comment. I agree like most users, Windows 8 was terrible.
10:10 aros is a reimplementation of AmigaOS it has nothing to do whatsoever with Linux but the fact that's also open source.

Is it possible to run, for example, an Amiga 500 system and use it as a complete computer? To save different games, programmes, to save settings as in a virtual system?
Awesome emulator. Thank you for your informative video. I launch Amiga Forever from Launchbox and it works great. Only thing I find awkward is that Amiga Forever transforms ADF files into its own format, what leaves you with two files of one ROM afterwards. Is there a workaround?
Sure. Just remove them. Pretty sure you just right click and remove?

I use fs uae ad it doesn't support *.rp9 (at least i don't think it does)
I just prefer 'seeing' what i wanna load that's all... RP9 is more of a wrapper. Even though they claim its par to the "open source" project, i've only ever experienced RP9 with Cloanto.
Thanks for the Vid, but all the games play super fast ie sped up, am i missing a setting, when i check it says its playing in A500 mode? cant find anything on the net to help? Anyone help???? :)
Hey there. Your best bet would be to contact the developer behind Amiga Forever. It's not an issue I have personally faced. Maybe somebody here could assist?

Hey there. There is an option for printing under tools - options. I don't use Amiga emulation for printing sorry.

I have an a500 mini and have downloaded AGS. Is this still worth spending money on? Honest question
To be honest. If it's just games. Then AGS is fine. For more of an Amiga experience use Amiga Forever.

so if i insert the files listed on minute 27:37 into a root of a hard disk, and change the bios the Boot Order on a PC, will it then start with no issue, correct?

I noticed my controller sensitivity was really fast when I used it as a gamepad or a joystick is there a way to make my joysticks not move across the screen so quickly?

Why does this software feel like it's 1995 allover again
Good video but why would anybody pay a company for amiga kick-start images that they had no creative impact in making, just download the images from somewhere else, I own all the software from amiga forever legally but it's not that hard to just find a website that also owns legally the same stuff
Hey. Well that's entirely up to you. It's just not something that I encourage.
That's BS. Cloanto paid a lot of money for the rights of the Amiga software so they have the right to sell it and ask money for it. The way you reason is you won't buy a Mini because BMW bought the brand Mini. You have every right to download the things elsewhere (legal or not) but the reason you give makes no sence to me.
