Not only that but also everything, you could add gems coins and stuff like that since its all on your device
Since you can defend too, offline mode would mess everything up. Let's say someone attacked you and looted 1mil gold. Then you login offline, and your game doesn't know that you were attacked. This means that the game would think you still have that 1mil gold and you can use it for upgrading. When you get back online, you would basically have -ve gold.

It is actually impossible to do an offline mode on boom beach and coc
Because if someone attacks you, you lose ressources like gold and if you’re offline, the game can’t know if you were attacked or not and it may cause problems with the upgrades.

Also your data gets stored on the servers, if it was stored on your device, it would be easy to cheat

Anyone remember the quests feature in clash royale. I loved that feature as it was really fun and it added something new to the game and it would reward you. After playing for every day for like a week or so I was only 25 points away from a legendary kings chest. I had stopped playing for a week only to come back and find out they removed the feature. I was so mad because of how close I was to getting my first legendary, only to have it be ripped from my hands and have quests removed
When your so early that you dont see that one kid blessing your family😂

More update mean your phone gonna lose more space in storage and it cost lagging. Those game are big game for big phone. You know that supercell game most are can play on weak phone. That let more people to enjoy their game with no worry about if their phone are strong enough.

Amity Arena (a once superior Clash Royal clone) had a really interesting way of mitigating the waiting you had to do in that game. Instead of only being able to unlock 1 chest at a time for 3 hours to 1 days time. Amity Arena instead had a sort of stamina meter approach. Every hour you get a key, you can hold six of them. One key unlocks one chest, once a day you can totally refill your keys with an add. Game felt hella generous until it released a $150 bundle I foolishly bought and thana month later the game announced it's server shutdown

Offline modes would open up the path to hacking your way into high levels and it would be a lot of extra work for supercell.
It's like taking an exam in school where school refers to supercell, the classroom is the game server and the exam is the game itself. When the game is online, you can't do anything other than doing the exam until you hand in your paper which is the equivalent of logging off. You can't really cheat.
But when the game is offline it's like the teacher allows the students to take their exam paper out of the class and do all sorts of cheats they like, then come back and hand it in. I hope this essay made sense!

Brawl Stars' biggest problem besides toxicity and bugs are their balance changes; often Supercell made a big balance change, like buffed a brawler, and they became ridiculously overpowered (mainly this is giving them new unbalanced star powers and gadgets). And even though they are defining the meta hugely, Supercell will either A: emergency nerf it within a day or a week so nobody gets to even experience it, or B: wait about 2 or 3 months until the next season to change it, when everybody has long become sick of it, and the game has long suffered.
And right when that season finally ended, and they successfully balance the brawler, guess what? They buff ANOTHER brawler, and now all of a sudden THEY'RE now meta defining for the next 2 or 3 months.
I respect that one of the best things about the game is a constantly evolving meta, where almost every brawler has seen the top and bottom of the tier list, and so the game feels fresh. However I feel they should either A: git gud at knowing how much balance is enough, or B: make a crap ton more balance changes so at least it takes a full half of the season for everyone to find out which brawler is now the best (however that can lead to the game quickly seeing massive gaps between top tier and bottom tier)
Personally I think the game is in one of the most balanced states it ever has been, as almost every brawler near the bottom is at least useable, when in the past the bottom 10 brawlers were almost unplayable as they were so bad.

about the first point: Yes supercell makes these extrememly expensive packs, BUT supercell games are basically the only games on mobile that are free and dont have ads so supercell needs to make money somehow.

For me there's 3 things i hate about supersell.
#1 waiting time - I get so bored.
#2 limited content - did you ever feel you have nothing to do? Because game mood & everything is limited & you are at a level you can't go any higher or can't do anything.
#3 Limited edition - They never come back again. I hate that i love a skin but it was limited edition so i missed it forever! how rude!!

Honestly i feel the reason behind the game development teams (aka. "SuperCells") Being so small, is to make them organize easier, as if the teams would be larger, it would make it harder to organize.
honestly supercell being slow on updating the game is great
I'm one of those who don't take changes too well and it's why I quit brawl stars
there's literally so much new content every month (mostly collectables, as in brawlers/gadgets/skins) that you never feel like you've reached the endgame
got all the brawlers? nice, here's 3 more to obtain
and the gadgets suck btw, glad I didn'T even get to experience them since I quit before their release
it's kind of the same for me in clash royale
the updates are fine and I like they release a new card every now and then but they've made too many big changes imo
like 2v2 is fun. yes
however, if you have it available all the time, and it's more convenient to play ladder, it really loses its charm quickly
to the point where I rarely even play 2v2s
the clan chest was awesome, and clan wars v1 was a downgrade from them but I thought they were still pretty fun

I hate the new system and the defences you put up
it's extremely boring to defend (I mean you decide on your troops in the towers once and never think about them ever again be real) and attacking is just as stale
all you do is fight against a surge of overpowered troop hoping to get some towers
it's not nearly as fun as playing against humans and as I said feels extremely boring to me
the final tournament matches you can do after the war has ended are very fun though
the concept of having to use your war decks and only being able to use each deck once in a best of 3 is great and makes for really interesting matchups
sadly you can only do one such battle in like 5 hours because your decks have a cooldown for some reason
so the constant updates to the clan wars system hasn't really improved anything for me personally and I would've liked them to just stick with what they had and refine it rather then throwing it under the bus completely

You can’t really compare the updates for coc or boom beach to fortnite/pubg since they’re clearly different types of games. Progression games take longer since you’re not just changing stats or adding guns etc. You’re adding new building levels, skins for those buildings etc. It takes more work.

The reason higher townhalls have so long upgrade times is because they wanna keep too many players from getting maxed, especially free to play players who will have to pay to get there. At least they reduce the times for earlier townhalls when new ones come out

In my opinion, Clash of Clans is their only game that has the ability to achieve longevity and still maintain relevance
The worst thing in clash of clans, is upgrading ur heroes, it puts u in such a disadvantage, especially in clan wars
It's really crazy when i upgraded the eagle artiletary at clash of clans. It took a week to be finished (from level 1 to 2)
In regards to the packs I kinda wished they did more £2-£10 packs instead of like £50 ones

The upgrade times are so true.. there has to be some reduce upgrade times, specially on the lab. in COC. With last big update, my lab in TH13 added like 8 additional months until finish. 16 days for one item is just insane. I wouldn't even count having max lab by the end of 2021. They just keep adding levels, without reduced times.
The upgrade times and costs have been reduced a lot since earlier times. It'd reduce even more after the release of th 14.
Coc is a game based on patience. If you guys Have no patience just go to hell

Sometimes they do balancing very fast, 3-5 weeks if something is really broken, and listening to the community. Mortises hat, tweeter poles for the new gadgets, and Kairos Time’s constructive advice on balancing Brawl Stars in many ways, like the new end of season trophies trough power points system.

I actually disagree with the long update times, for games like clash of clans if we got an update every week then no one would be able to catch up, the waiting time period is useful because it lets players take time to get all the new items.

Usually in clash of clans when my upgrade takes like 5-8 days I usually work up the gold or elixir to upgrade again once it’s finished and repeat the process
If they were going to get rid of the waiting, they would have to drive prices for upgrades, WAY up, in order to keep the appeal of using gems there.

the reason the games require wifi is because most of the games data is on a server and not your phone, tablet or computer. The reason the data is not on your device is because it would be much easier to change and just give yourself 5000 gems. if you would like 5000 gems for then you would have to hack into their servers.
also if you were to use cheat engine (or something else) to give yourself gems/loot it would say: "Client and server are out of sync!"
edit: this is probably also the reason they close their games that dont go big when they dont have enough storage space for it on their servers
there should be a feature in CoC where you can apply more than one builder to a building and the building will get upgraded faster

Yes...colt was ruling the brawl stars because of silver bullet...and poco's gadget is trash...they should quickly fix this in a week...but you see silver bullet was nerfed many days later and jessie was coming to the meta but bs nerfed it by saying overpowered...jessie is a low trophy road brawler and available to everyone and it was not that overpowered
