I have just received an email reply from Agrotk admitting the truth! "Yes, we have had dozens of customers experience the same problem. It's a flaw in our machine design. " It's time for them to become accountable for this design flaw. It has cost most of us thousands of dollars each. Unacceptable!
In the same boat as you admitted the part is bad and is discontinuing it.they hacked my email and erased all my messages from them if I was you I would copy your correspondence with them.
Do you still have the chinese roller? I have bought one and it broke the love joy within couple hours, please let me know if you found a way to make it work. Thanks for your time!
I have the exact same problem, and it seems many others do as well. IMO, this should be grounds for a class action complaint against Agrotk and Ritchie Brothers. This product is failing by design, yet they continue to sell it and rip off more unsuspecting buyers!
Mine is super-rough sounding, too. I'm starting to think that the failure of this connecting assembly near the motor is actually due to unacceptable resistance somewhere in the counter-weighted axle inside the drum. Maybe the Lovejoy-style connector isn't really the problem, but rather just the observable point of failure after something else causes too much strain and stress? Is anyone else noticing a very rough sound from inside the roller before this connecting assembly smokes and fails?
@@RickRossTN I have a greatbear vibrator and it lasted 5 minutes working great. Now it spools up, but feels as if its grinding on something and stops. Puts a lot of strain on my hydraulic system when it does this.
I have the same roller with the same problem. Hoping you guys find a solution. Has anyone looked at the parts from a different Chinese rollers to see if there is a better design that might work on ours?
I bought one at a bitchy bro's auction. On my bobcat T650 It vibrated, but compaction wasn't any good. Ended up just overheating my bobcat. Landhonor = Landh Onorment = Land Ornament. Agrotk. Agrovation. Sound it out.
Thank you for this video, just pulled mine apart and found the damaged coupler.
So you have pt. 2 up yet?

I'm thinking the same as you but I went through my emails with them they hacked my email and deleted them all
I'm on board with this guy.
Bro what??? You're buying a $15k piece of equipment for $1500 at an auction sold with no implied warranty.
Dealing with same issue. The outside diameter of spline adaptor is too small, it needs to make contact with Love Joy at mounting bolts.
Have you tried spinning the shaft by hand mine is very rough sounding and feeling

Do you have any updates? Mine also does the same thing.
Yo did you ever put this back together?
I have the same unit, same problem. do you have the part # of the rubber spider?
Yes I do, it did the same exact thing though. Thinking is a bent motor, checking it next
Lovejoy 68514438814 it was $147
How does the roller work now?
Did the same thing, I need to pull it back in and diagnose more
@@benpoguebp oh great. I just bought mine two weeks ago. It lasted 10 mins.
@@TheBattleBranchBoys I'm wonder if the motor shaft is bent. next chance I get I'll check
Did you ever get this fixed. And how long did it last
@@joebono6175 it lasted about 1 minute until it did the same thing. I bet it's just too much for the lovejoy

I'm thinking about a belt drive setup
Just got the same roller and it stopped working after 5 min.
Did you ever figure out what was wrong with it? I have one doing the same thing since new.
No it's needing to be re-engineered. Working on that now
Don't buy this roller still waiting on dealer to send me Parts it's been about 2 weeks.
Mine didnt last 10 hours. Completely shit out.
