- This Datsun 280z is bad to the BONE! Rocking a stroker 5.3L with some MONSTER turbos and a T56 (6speed) transmission. This sucker was ALL OVER the place on the track. But that didn’t stop him from pushing to the finals of Street Car Takeover Atlanta's stick shift class! Being as light as it is, and making 1200hp was certainly a challenge, but he managed to run a new personal best - 8.75 @ 140mph! That’s MOVING!

This dude is beast he drives around everyone he is very calm and focused look out off with they head good job 1320 bringing us theses gems 2018.
That Z is a fricken rocket! The way he was always slow off the start and launches past everyone with ease. Unbelievable.
Watching this is like seeing a ghost. An old friend of mine had a flat black 240Z with a 427 in it back in the 80s. They called it the Scream Machine. Just one of many crazy rides he built. Rest in peace Harry.

Respect to the driver, builder of the Datsun/nissan. He seemed like an honest guy. I would send business his way if I was local. Pretty impressed for having limited seat time, how well he managed the car. 8 sec is a lot to handle, experienced or not. Luke others stated, I'm sure he will improve reaction time with practice.
That's an accomplishment beating that blue Camaro seeing that it holds the world stick shift record for GM

A 240z and 280z aren't identical besides the engine. There are minor differences. It was a 280z before and says 280z on the side so idk why he wouldn't correct him

Hey I Know that guy!! haha I went to church with Stephen for years and he would see me driving my 12 second 240Z with 2.9L 10.8:1 CR Stroker and bored out Dual SUs so maybe I inspired him to get a Z. :-) His father is a good Baptist preacher and his mother is one the best Christian ladies to ever walk the face of the earth. I was just scrollin on to youtube and up popped my old friend. haha

It's a beautiful thing. Putting the power on the ground, launches straight, goes good, but you could use some work on the light. I know you said you needed more experience. This looks like an area to work on. You're going to own this class.

Amazing car, he just needs to learn how to go on green, there’s always like a 1/2 sec lag off the break. He gotta slam the pedal when it’s yellow and he’ll take off right when the light hits green.

That semi final race was interesting. The C6 left first and had a higher top speed but lost the race. Maybe he missed a gear XD. Im still happy the 280 won. #JDMFORLIFE

I am pretty sure that once he starts losing, he'll focus more on the lights... At this point, its probably nice to afford playing it safe, not jump the tree, and still slide right on by whoever he is racing against :). On that note, god damn does that thing pull like a freight train through first and second.
