And survive the final blast.. team mate use dust of life is usefull too.. hope more hunters learn this and survive. 3rd 4th 5th nova. With at least 1 horn break

My best run was soloing him until the third phass,his vitals were low the epic music was playing the dragonator hit, I got filled with so much pride... only to fail with a time limit
@@nathanieltesoro4289 I'm currently farming its armor through the Special Assignments. It is very useful because of the 5 faints. If you breaks its head and wings without killing it and you get back from the quest, it will give all you need for the Armor.

I think Fatalis is meant to do that last nova no matter what. Im pretty sure he was at 1 hp after the attack and any hit would kill him, but there was no way of saving that time
@@Jefstito actually no, only 2 nova is staged, i try it with trainer/tool and found out that he can die before doing the third nova. Yeah im suck at playing game.
Jefstito the thing is that there is a 4 player run that skips the last nova entirely, of course it’s HBG, but still they skip the last nova so it is possible
@@JusticeDrago95 Here's what happens. The last nova is skippable. However, if he starts up the animation , he's immortal during. Since he does it at 5% if you deal lets say 6% hp while it's knocked down, he'd simply die. But if you do 4.99% and he gets to start the nova, he'll just fly away and do it and be immortal during. After its done, he'll be at 0.01%hp and even a net can kill it

10:05 Peak Performance & no Divine Blessing Secret against Fatalis. You many resets did it take for you to accomplish this epic run? I get 2-shot by Fatalis when it just slithers on the ground.
Usually I just dodge/counter. Once you learn his move set like alatreon you will rarely ever get hit twice. But having at least 1000 def is recommended.
The hard thing with LS on fatalis is that he can actually counter your counter sometimes, like being shown here peppo getting hit several times. and also the hitbox of his body slam is so huge that even though you successfully did foresight on it you can still get hit

man I always get super unlucky about landing my HS when he does his stupid wiggle flamethrower move...! sometimes I get lucky and nick the head as it swings back around but there were so many times that it just swings the other way or he pulls back just a bit too much and my HS whiffs. But seeing how you're timing and aiming the HS is super helpful, thank you for the upload! Also I'm so happy that I threw on that clutch claw boost deco, wounding is so much less painful now :'D Congrats on the sub 10 min!

LS’s spirit attacks gives you wind resistance for minor wind pressure. If you are in a spirit combo, you won’t get the wind pressure from that animation (same happens for Lunastra). Different is with Kushala, that wind pressure is stronger so you can’t prevent it just with spirit attacks.

Danm the amount of practice runs needed for this, literally attack fatalis head movement ahead of time to catch it with a helm breaker, that's so cool, plus also using its get up head movement after head break to continue you combo, then to refresh your level three spirit bar golden man... 👍👍

8:35 this was the exact time my heart broke. I feel if the flinch had happened after the Helmsplitter you would have saved the ~30s and skip the last nova and maybe the damage would have been enough to shave enough time for the sub 9min.
I remember 11 yo me and my Bestfriend fighting fatalis in MH1 from 9 a.m to 3 p.m . countless carted and curse, and still lost at the end. But now , he will face a grown man.!!!!

Oh trust me he did him more times than you failed. Keep doing this fight and you will learn all his moves which again makes the fight easier. Couldnt beat him for 2 days then beat him 4 times in a row, two solos and two duo runs
I'd say try following one of the Fatalis scipts on YT. I get through Area 1 in about 4-5ish minutes or less with Dragon Ammo. I also get a horn break in around 8 mins so the rest of the fight is much less frustrating. Practice makes perfect. He's gunna beat your ass at first. Nothing you can do about it. Just keep learning his moves.

Damn, dude, TA speedruns are awesome but this is like... raw footage you know? I mean, you use mantles, you use your stuff, your wall bangs. I've been trying to beat everything with raw skill, without using mantles and stuff but I think I'm just making things way harder for myself that way. You inspired me to keep trying (cuz I had given up after beating it once in a 4-men) with mantles. I don't even HAVE temporal/rocksteady mantles, much less the + version x.x

"Not that close" he says in a post a short time before. Also, at roughly 4:11, you do a tenderized Helmbreaker and hit for 249 a pop, but seconds later, you land an untenderized Helmbreaker and hit 270+. How did that happen?
1. the hitzone on head is 75 untenderised, 76 tenderised. barely a difference. It's just for 100% affinity with fatty weapon. 2. he got atk melody from palico in between
He got the coral orchestra buff from his cat, that’s about 15% (iirc?) more raw damage. Also worth mention that tenderizing a HZV as high as 75 doesn’t improve it much at all, it just helps fully activate WEX (luckily he still got the crit tho).
@@albinodunmer2671 fatalis tenderise formula is -5 compared to normal formula. If he had a hitzone above 80, it'd actually DECREASE by tenderising which is hilarious

A question, if you dont have wind resistance, how are you avoiding knockback when fatalis flys to do its fire nukes?
You don’t then. The only thing that can stop the knock back is the rocksteady mantle.

Damn, dude, TA speedruns are awesome but this is like... raw footage you know? I mean, you use mantles, you use your stuff, your wall bangs. I've been trying to beat everything with raw skill, without using mantles and stuff but I think I'm just making things way harder for myself that way. You inspired me to keep trying (cuz I had given up after beating it once in a 4-men) with mantles. I don't even HAVE temporal/rocksteady mantles, much less the + version x.x

@Peppo what was the food skill to ignore the roar when he was about to do his super in third phase cause every time he's about to do his super I get stunned by that roar I want to know this so I can do my own speed runs cause that roar in the end when he's gonna do super is kinda annoying plss tell umm call me Zepher.

Also, at roughly 4:11, you do a tenderized Helmbreaker and hit for 249 a pop, but seconds later, you land an untenderized Helmbreaker and hit 270+. How did that happen?
1. the hitzone on head is 75 untenderised, 76 tenderised. barely a difference. It's just for 100% affinity with fatty weapon.
2. he got atk melody from palico in between
Palico played a tune to increase attack I'm guessing.
He got the coral orchestra buff from his cat, that’s about 15% (iirc?) more raw damage.
Also worth mention that tenderizing a HZV as high as 75 doesn’t improve it much at all, it just helps fully activate WEX (luckily he still got the crit tho).

@@albinodunmer2671 fatalis tenderise formula is -5 compared to normal formula. If he had a hitzone above 80, it'd actually DECREASE by tenderising which is hilarious
