The biggest weakness of the Byzantines is that when you attack them the player forgets the 50 other things they're supposed to be doing to play this god damn civ lmao

Yeah exactly casting is by far its greatest content. FFA content is sooo boring to watch. The first 5 were cool but now not anymore

Huge mistake from Zerton massing farms while he was being rushed I think. Not going for mass berries while outmassing the OOTD player is a big mistake. Also I prefer Javs in this matchup because OOTD archers tend to destroy the smaller groups of longbows you'd get since they are mercenaries and small amount of javs works fine against the extra beefy OOTD units since they don't overkill
Very relatable game, too slow to react to horsemen taking out your vills, staking up loads of food and wood and then realizing you don't have access to a safe gold anymore to age up. So now you kind of scramble to try and spend that food and wood as the pressure is mounting. Ton of passive stone build that could have been used for emplacements or cisterns. It's almost like I'm watching myself play :V
If 8 GB is not enough, usually you can upgare to 16 GB fairly easily and cheaply, as there are 16 GB RAMs with the same outer shape as the 8 GB ones (or if you have dual sockets it is even easier, however in that case be careful to buy a set, as buying an additional 8 GB will often not work even with the same RAM model due to the clocks not being tuned to each other).
With a laptop it is a little bit more complicated but you still might be able to do it at home, or if you dont want to risk it, at a tech store they can definitely do it for you ...
I would recommend doing this instead of trying to live with the 8 GB, it is really not worth the headache ...
There are ways to make Windows use less RAM (because let's be honest, it DOESN'T need 4 gigs), but it's a bit of a hassle.
Do look it up if you use that laptop often.

No way ootd feudal rushed Byzantine of all ppl and won. I wouldn't believe this strat is viable in the current fc meta
There are civs with feudal MAA, civs with feudal knights, civs with units that have a bonus vs MAA like Ghazi raiders... Byzantines have no answer to a MAA push in feudal. especially against ODT
This means byz should be a fast castle civ, but it isn't

It's worth noting that Hung missed a lot of vil production in this game. In minute 18 OotD should have 50 vils. He lost 3 yet he had 41 vils instead of 47. This game would've looked more dominant if he didn't miss the vils.
prob ran out of food he was producing a fk ton of units.
@@MrAtaguas Generally you should prioritize vil over military when food is limited though.

The laptop should have an extra slot for RAM upgrade though? And you can almost buy it cheaper in the Philippines (but will be voiding guarantee) XD

@@_Makanko_ Wasn't it only Apple would do that and not leaving any easy option for upgrade? One of my laptop from 2017 have its RAM directly soldered on mobo but even then it still has a free slot for upgrade hahaha

Buy the MSI Cyborg 15 A12VF and give it 32Gb Ram and 4TB disk upgrade it before u use it
Hey drongo I know you like your age videos and I especially love the ffa’s but have thought about different games, I saw this game called foxhole a large war game and a lot to it if you were to voice over the war and the tactics of both sides that would cool or if you are not looking to expand maybe you could do a video about lost tactics in AOE4 like a stone wall with smaller outcroppings going out to the enemy so ranged infantry can shoot further and attempt to funnel enemies coming through, or maybe the deli landmark, for infantry building stone walls and such and then making a treb box or wall with gate/stone tower for range in a fight

Best civ? Byzantines ATM are at 50% win rate on Conq IV and negative win rate on regular Conq.
GTFO with this nonsense. All of a sudden every AOE player has told himself that Byz are the best civ therefore they must be while statistics say otherwise.
