Blue Bayou by Alisan Porter should be considered an example of the perfect blind audition. Low tone, high tone and her highest one but the best of the performance are the transitions: perfectly executed.
She’s been down that road. Lost in the stormy sea and can hear from her voice, clicking on in desperation to ride that stormy sea. Finally, can see that she found her harbour in her vocal expression. what an inspirational and talented lady she is now. My blessings for her and her future.

She is a great performer. Every performance was incredible, but for me the one that stands out more is Crying. Simple cause trying to sing songs by Stevie Tyler are vocally hard and demanding. She made it her own.
The most beautiful voice ..she has a different voice ..God gift is incredible for her ..I want to hear her voice everyday ...it seems getting in to my nerves ...solo damn beautiful ..I love the way she is .... God BLESS you Alison Porter and your family ..

Great without a doubt but agree with those who get tired of all the big-energy high notes. Love it when the tone is more nuanced and sometimes simplicity is better than over complication.
Her blind audition was the best of her performances. Listening to her belt out those other songs was technically great, but the higher she went and the harder she pushed the songs the more it was like scratching fingernails on a chalkboard. To bring out the best in her voice she needs to come down an octave and stop pushing so hard….. and just relax and let it come. Desperado was much better…. Until she pushed it up high, then it grated.
Would have to agree, most of the performances were high piched, which gets iritating after awhile. Great singer...note the diff in tone with Christina when they sang together, a lot easier to listen to.
I agree. That's why I like singers like Avril Lavigne. You can listen to songs by Avril even for 1 full hour and not get tired. Even Avril can belt very high when needed but she has amazing lows. Her low parts sounds as glorious as her highs. I love that balance. Knowing when to do what is what makes a great artist. Just because someone is technically strong doesn't mean they need to overdo it. I can't listen to continuous high pitched treble sounding voice for more than few minutes. There needs to be a balance
