An odd one, but the old school 'damage yourself' minion themed deck still seems really good. It's just a bunch of high health minions you heal back to full without using Inner Fire and stuff.
And that's why I run elysiana, if it gets to that point the only way the enemy wins is if they are warrior. Does make me weaker to aggro but eh whatever it's only one bad draw

It's not 100%, but if they can't silence or remove the deathrattle then they have to find a way to burn/remove the blood, or just outright kill you beforehand. You also have multiple chances of it going off due to Zerek's and resurrect. Kinda risky against aggro, and you require 2 cards for it, but it's an alternative.

If the game is vs. an aggressive deck, there's a good chance that the quest won't matter. By pitching the quest, you might get a card from your deck that helps you survive. The quest is good vs. Midrange and Control decks that try to overwhelm you much later in the game.
I think it was a bad deciosion... but honestly if you watch Toast he has a lot of misplays... He doesn’t have a one drop, so the quest is the only thing to play on curve... and +1 extra heal and the buff is very good against aggro anyway. Also as someone mentioned you can still topdeck the quest which is even worse... i think against aggro you should only mulligan your quest if you have a viable one drop that you need
Res priest really is amazing in this meta, it's really good against rogue and Hunter but i struggle against shaman still, although it's not an auto loss

Why's everyone so obsessed with the quest? You don't need it if you're against an aggro deck..you need something more useful, you don't win those matchups by completing the quest you win by outhealing your opponent, that's it.
He will complete it, he won't have a dead draw later on, if he heals face he can actually outpace the Hunter's hero power. The mull for gaining your next card one turn early is a bad idea considering you're losing out on a hero power that at WORST is 50% stronger on an easily completable quest. Toast was wrong and if you check high legend players they won't get rid of the quest. You're going to win 90% of the games, getting a different card potentially one turn early won't win the game for you vs having a drastically improved hero power that makes like hell for Hunter.
That 2nd game was so hard to watch, You played into freezing with Kha'tut instead of just zilliaxing and letting that take the ol' trap, Zilliax isn't as good in this situation against Hunter because they just arcane shot or hp it with Sharpshooter.

Feel like priest is the real anti meta of standard currently. Almost every aggro deck hard loses to quest, and you can outlast the control ish decks. Thankfully there's no real combo decks

If he had put the quest on turn one instead of skipping he still would've won and probably without having to go down to 6 health. He may have even avoided early damage and would've been even more safe to wait to use his board clears.

It also makes him feel even worse since you just makes him play the unwinnable matchup for about 40min without doing the things his deck should do.. lol
you want get your weapon in hand because it can remove minions and you can just swap with other weapon to avoid burn your better card in deck. You basically play nothing so he cant heal anything

Ever since Toast left Hearthstone for TFT, he has forgotten that a quest puts on pressure and increases value of your minions. But obviously I’m wrong since Toast is a genius and obviously isn’t wrong, even when he has healed himself
You don't need the quest against aggro decks, you win without it no matter what

Quest only helps your hero power and it weakens your draw. Strictly better to use quest .

In this case the 5 5/5 that heals. Did that minion singlehandedly carry the game? yes
DId he have that minion in hand at that moment? no
Would mulligan the quest give him a chance of getting that minion? yes
Also there is no need to complete the quest when he won at that point anyways.

This resurrect priest deck is powerful. But why are so many players using it? Ridiculous. As if their only aim was to win. No effort to build original decks. Just cloning each other. They may win, but it's typically a loser's behavior. Anyway, this game is full of such cloning-guys. LOL
