I would not have expected myself to feel deep depression and heart break every time I came across this song. I sometimes have to steer myself away from listening to this song every time i see it in my favorites because it’s unhealthy
I feel the same way, this tune represents the past, a lot of water has passed under the bridges since the golden age of twin peaks, i also think it reminds us all that time passes way to fast and all of a sudden you wake up knowing your life has come to an end, but the memories will always live on. Twin peaks has always been a part of my life since i saw it first time when i was 9 years old and it will always be a part of my life until my last breath.
This is so wonderful. Angelo Badalamenti actually created laura palmers theme for the show on the fender rhodes with David lynch and a recording tape. I wish this had been somewhere in the show. Its very peaceful.
mistofigo walks over to screen making shadow animals. Gently caresses the image of his mother projected onto the screen. That scene gets me every time.
@@justwiln What were you doing at the time of this series ? has your life changed or not ? (around 30 years ago) For me this melody represents the past time and good or bad memories
RIP maestro Badalamenti.

yet it soothes you if you are really sad
I reckon this music means lots of different things to lots of different people.

It does appear at certain times in the show, I had to find this version after rewatching the series and hearing it
You can hear it in the scene where Norma is confronting her mother about being the food critic, but it's in other scenes as well
I guess the moral of the story is that I gotta clean my dang ears out next time plus its been a long time since ive seen the majority of season two
this makes me cry
Is this like some Twin Peaks RPG save screen music or what?
Lol definitely gives off that vibe, like a RPG for the SNES
Reminded me of Hatoful Boyfriend LMAO
It's the typewriter (save) screen.
Thank you so much for sharing this.

@@chrisfeeney5814 Excellent pairing between scene and music. Richard Beymer did a great job!
This music returns your guts like a dung, we are in the era of the coronavirus with people we will never see again,
