Even if I never got to experience the show ending, this song still makes me super sadhappy. And I think it’s just the message it conveys about how even if things change and you have to leave someone, it doesn’t mean you have to stop being friends, or that the friendship didn’t mean anything. And it doesn’t even have to be about friendships either. It’s just a really good song to convey what it’s like to part with someone or something and appreciate the experiences that you’ve made with them.
As a fan who was 1 year old when this show came out its so hard to see it go But one of my biggest shock was PINKIE IS A MOM NOW!! And apple jack and raritys parts really hut deep And I know alot of people who grew up ALOT from this show! Personally I think pinkie pie was my favorite! This was a show that didn't just impact modern animation, it left an immense mark on the whole world forever. This was a show broke down barriers, appealing to the very young and very old, black and white, girls and boys, men and women, disabled or able, and through every country and culture. It kickstarted the careers of musicians and visual artists, got first time people interested in forums, fanfiction, conventions etc. and most importantly, it taught everyone that friendship is the greatest thing that matters. It’s influence will very much impact so many generations, much like Beethoven Mozart, Mickey Mouse or the Beatles. We will certainly never see a show as impactful as this again in our lifetime or any other lifetime.
Everyone should always have friendship in their hearts so be kind be positive be honest be generous be you stand up for others stand for yourself I love you all

Just finished the finale and the episode ended beautifully ❤ my favourite part 2:27 their final sing because they show all the major supporting characters as a tribute past years thank you to the cast and crew for making this production. Friendship last forever and always be in our hearts. 💜
I can't explain how sad this song and episode made me. I didn't want my little pony to end. I feel like so much more stuff could have happened in the show. Don't get me wrong the ending was perfect but the show has taught me SO MUCH and was my whole childhood so it just ending like that makes me sad.
