I was raised in Hop Hop cultural and remebr what it was before NWA ... with that said he is right if you do a total analysis of hip hop its a mental weapon unleshed upon the youth. We can talk all that its not real hip hop but that only proves it doesn't belong to us. We as black people(not all of us) just have low expectations, let this low level culture go. Thats a hard pill to swollow but its true.

Mainstream bulls**t Hip Hop certainly does, but conscious, enlightening, inspiring, race uplifting Hip Hop is what younger Black males especially, will gain from listening to.
The powers that be in the music industry are very aware of this, and that's why the nonsense Hip Hop is promoted over the more valuable Hip Hop with positiveness...

This is another comment under this channel goes against what Malcom X preached
Going by his religious beliefs from 1964 til his death he wouldn't condone any sort of music except that which is in praise of Allah (like this for example ruclips.net/video/K2Up5h675Y8/видео.html )

Damn bro..I just wrote something similar..lol..great minds think alike..also we're from that era that made you think..I swear we need the Gods(5%ers) back in the game to bring back real hip-hop...we don't need this ratchet manufactured crap rap that's trying to pass for hip-hop..the powers that be knew exactly what they were doing by stopping conscious rap over the radio..it was waking BP up and they don't want that.

1st this is not Black culture, this a Sub-culture that the youth has adopted.
2nd this is not hip-hop..this is manufactured rap to destroy the youth..the powers that be saw that real hip-hop created by the Gods(5%ers and conscious folks) had BP questioning and thinking..it was like our own Black CNN..it briefed us on what was what and who the enemy was.. Most of the rappers in the 70s, 80s and 90s were 5%ers..they were no saints and angels but they did drop jewels, gave us good music, and made us think..even their vocabulary and speech was impressive back then..the Gods brought balance to the game..real hip hop had an underline message to go against the corrupt system and to fight against what was unjust..

Nothing is wrong with hip hop. At least how it first started and it’s positive origin of its beginning. What I will say hip hop og recently has become toxic with glorifying murder, drugs, and sex outside of marriage etc that doesn’t please Yah!

I wholly disagree with this guy I grew up in the 80's and hip hop then gave us a positive vibe compared to hip hop nowadays but the hip hop game now has put a lot of money in these whack rappers pockets just to bad they haven't invested in the communities they once destroyed.
