The little girl in the red coat was an inspired touch. Dioramas are so much about story telling. Her in this scene reminded me so much of the girl in the red coat from "Schindler's List" I, sure it struck others this way.

It's funny you wrote this because that girl was immediately who came to mind when I watched this.
Indeed. It struck me as it reminds me of that scene in "waterloo" from Dino de Laurentis where the english soldiers gets out of the Square during the French cavalry charge crying "Why ? Why are we killing each other ?". Once again a superb diorama with a very powerful message about the insanity of war ! We absolutely need it nowadays to be reminded of the futility of wars which only brings sorrow. Thank you for being there to remind it to us all.

Schindler's list book was awarded the Los Angeles Times Book Prize for Fiction in 1983. Medias made it feel like it was an historical movie, just saying...
Incredible realism, I don't believe I have seen the use of blood with the wounded in a diorama before. That just brings another level of detail to your dioramas. Always enjoy seeing you do one of your dioramas. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for telling both sides of the story. Not every German was evil just like all Allied was not good. Alot of good men on both sides died because they had no choice. I have watched countless stories about how alot of German troops and leaders worked behind the nazis to try and end things early

Seit 2018 bin ich Begeistert und Erstaunt wie bekommt man das so Genial hin!!!!! Ich weiß es bis heute nicht 😜😜

Letztes Jahr im Oktober war ich mit meiner Frau in der Ukraine, die Schwiegereltern besuchen!
Wie immer war es Schön und Ruhig.
Im August waren wir wieder da, es war immer noch Schön bei den Schwiegereltern!
Mit dem Unterschied das es fast jeden Tag 3-4luft Alarm gab, Mig-29,Frogfoot und Mi 's über die Stadt flogen.
Und auf den Straßen war so viele Check points aufgebaut!
Ich hab die Ukraine so nicht wieder erkannt!!!!!!
Das Ganze Szenario kannte ich nur aus meinen 12 Jahren dst Zeit bei der Bundeswehr!!!

Wars can bring the worst in people, but i don' t think that can change the innocence of the children. Amazing diorama, stunning attentions to the details and a really sad story because children shouldn' t be exposed to the horrors of a war. Once again, Thomas, u are a true artist.

Superb work....as always. The buildings are a joy in themselves.
Only criticism I would give...and I hate to be "that guy" You should have gone with field grey uniforms on Ze Germans. You've kind of gone with an Elite pattern camo but regular army insignia. Again sorry to be so picky as its a relatively small detail but sets us WW2 history nuts off.
Wieder einmal ein detailreiches Diorama und beim schauen des Videos ging mir nur dieser eine Satz wieder durch den Kopf, den wir von Fallout kennen: "War nerver changes" Das wird hier auf beklemmende Art sehr gut gezeigt. 😁👍

Einfach immer wieder nur Klasse was du erbaust, bin jedes mal aufs neue Faziniert, es stimmt einfach alles und mit dem Lasercuter,was du damit alles machen kannst - Genial!! Jetzt am Ende bin ich schon etwas Traurig wegen der Toden Soldaten, aber so war der Krieg nunmal :-( und dann das Kind am Ende ...................Deine Videos erzählen immer wieder tolle Geschichten. Bin Faziniert :-)))

Watching once more this diorama what struck me the most is the distraught little girl who has just arrived to the alley were she used to play with her friends and found such a horrible scene! You just recreated an historical moment that that little girl will never forget! May God bless their Souls! (Since I gather you recreated it from a real picture).

Hallo Thomas, ich habe was in der Planung und fange jetzt auch wieder an. Will das Sägewerk erneuern dafür muss ich aber ersteinmal abreißen und mir gedanken über den Berg dahinter machen. Was mir leider Kopfschmerzen noch bereitet bin seit 2 Monaten am Planen. Aber ich mache in 2 Wochen ein Video und werde dann meine Probleme erklären und erläutern hab momentan keine Idee.
Aber es kommt diesesmal wirklich ein Video von mir.

Wieder eine Meisterhafte Arbeit!
Bei ihnen stimmt einfach alles an den Videos.
Die Videos sind super gestaltet mit dem Ton und dem Bildschnitt.
Die Details der Modelle und deren Umsetzung sind unvergleichlich und auch die Geschichte die im Diorama erzählt wird, ist jedes Mal einzigartig.
Die Idee mit "vorher/nachher" ist auch super. Auch hier wieder, mit den spielenden Kindern, man kann die Sinnlosigkeit/Grausamkeit des Krieges gut erkennen, spüren und verstehen.
Meine Hochachtung!

That is something quite special and although it is only an half hour video, I'm sure that hundreds of hours went into making this model, especially the design and cad work.
As much as the level of detail impresses me greatly, I am super impressed with the laser cut brickwork that appears to be textured, I would be very interested in a 'how to' video if you ever feel so inclined to share your secret,
